Great family CG. WE had a site on the River and the staff were VERY friendly and helpful. This is one of your back in the woods CG, once you get through the little dirt road, it opens to a BIG beautiful grassy river front CG.. The lawns are well maintained and you just pull on your site however you want, it is not graveled sites. We played in the river all day and had a great time. Will return to this CG again and again, also they have lots of shade. The river has a lot of rapids to go tubing or canoing and a playground/ volleyball court. My kids love it. Bring your bike there is a road that is in the back that has a little rocky beach, but be careful because some of the rocks are slick... Have fun!

Camped here for the fourth time. The staff was very, very friendly and helpful. They have REALLY cleaned the CG up since we camped here last Labor Day weekend. You can see they are working hard to make improvements. We had buddy sites with my sister, so we were face to face and it was really nice. The only thing that REALLY needs work is the bathhouse, even through we didn't have to use it, it needs work. Will go back again.

We camped here in April, two families with 3 kids, and everyone had a wonderful time. Plenty of paved park roads to ride your bike or just take a walk. The park is very well taken care of. We go to Dan Nicholas CG at least twice a year. We go in the Spring and again in the fall. All the campers are very friendly, never had a problem. Bathhouses very clean. Since they don't have full hook up the kids love to go to the bathhouse, they think that's wonderful. Will return again.
