Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean campground. Very convenient to Disney and transportation is free to the parks and downtown disney. Pool is open 24 hrs which we loved. Overall, we figured later that it would have been cheaper to stay at one of the budget resorts and have NO work (cleaning, cooking, etc) to do, which is what we will do next time. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful, tropical Paradise. Nothing bad to say except all the mosquitos in the world were there that weekend!Oh, and no Laundry facilites. We rented a canoe for a very resonable rate and saw a dolphin swimming around nearby. Very nice people in the office too. We camped at Tomoka State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful Salt water pool, clean restrooms, and free admission to Frontier Town Water Park for your entire stay. We really enjoyed going to nearby attractions: Ocean CIty Boardwalk and Assateaague Island National Seashore to see the wild horses. This was our first stop along the way to Florida. We camped at Fort Whaley Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground, Waves, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for 3 nights. Nice park, has free internet, pool, laundry facilities and the best is that you can walk to the ocean beaches! Beautiful, spacious concrete paded sites with some grass. 3 restroom/shower facilities which were very clean. I would definitely stay here again. If I had to find a negative, it would be that Hatteras is very expensive to find food! We camped at Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Honesdale / Poconos KOA, Honesdale, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for 2 months. This place is great! They have themed activities for the kids, free or nominal cost. Some seasonals. The pool was nice, but definitely not heated as advertised! The holiday breakfasts/dinners where they provide the food, has proven to be a waste of money because they always run out and you are out of luck even though you paid. They seem to pinch pennies alot here, but laundry facilities are inexpensive. So all in all, nice place. Would stay again, made lots of friends. We camped at Honesdale / Poconos KOA in a Travel Trailer.
