Tee Pee Motel & RV Park, Wharton, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

I did not enjoy camping in the dirt or mud when it rained. A picnic table would have helped. The owner has gone to great lengths to provide modern bathrooms, laundry and hookups but forgot about providing grass, gravel, cement or tables. It was horrible! I only hope he reads this and decides that his monthly (which there are plenty) need more than a hook up in the dirt. We camped at Tee Pee Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Everything is well maintained and good variety of supplies. Very helpful staff and breakfast on weekends and Wednesday for a fee and ice cream social on Saturday. Would stay here again and hope for cable on all sites not just monthly sites. We camped at Silver City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The staff is very helpful and will make sure you have everything you need during your stay. They escort you to your site and continue the five star treatment with complimentary breakfast, hot sauce and chips, cookies, margarita night on Friday and extraordinary lobby and patio. The laundry and hot tub are top notch and only negative is lack of swimming pool in the desert environment. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Las Cruces KOA, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This park is run like a strict business so if you are looking for friendly, warm hospitality go elsewhere. We were accused of not picking up after our dog. We are aware of the rules and did not break them but received a letter taped to our door saying we would be charged $25.00 for any dog waste not picked up?? Please. We also were charged the higher winter rate in July. The office manager was very rude and was always yelling at someone on the phone every time I was in the office. When we were pulling out we waved and the owner just looked the other way, tells you the friendly environment. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
