Port of Newport RV Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second stay. We had a pull thru was was long enough for our MH and Toad. A bit tight with the neighbors. Satellite was good as was AT&T.

WI-FI on the other hand was terrible. In this day of technology I want good WI-FI. When I could connect it was useless. It felt like 100 people trying to park in a single parking spot. No excuse for the terrible service.

The park host is outstanding! Also the office staff was very nice and helpful. The weather is outstanding. We camped at Port of Newport RV Park in a Motorhome.

Black Bart's RV Park, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very unlevel sites. Concrete slabs broken everywhere. Weeds the same. No WiFi. In this day of RVing, WiFi is the norm.

On the positive side the staff was very nice and helpful. Good for an overnight stay. One block off of I-40. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ivy's Cove RV Retreat, Russellville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

What an exceptionally nice campground. Extremely clean and nicely setup. Great rooftop satellite sites, good free Wi-Fi and good AT&T cell coverage. Very close to I-40 and lots of gas stations and restaurants close by. Owners are super nice!!! We were in a large pull through site with plenty of room without having to unhook. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

Beach Rose RV Park, Salisbury, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with a great owner and very friendly staff. Concrete pads with grass. All back ins but plenty of room for our 34 ft RV. Nice small park with a small dog run. Wi-Fi didn't work very well and neither did our AT&T hotspot but our Verizon Mi-Fi worked OK. We used this park to visit Boston, Rockport, and Salem. Worked very nicely. We camped at Beach Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground), Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very tight spots. Barely room to open slides. Tight turns due to trees. Some spots might be rooftop satellite friendly. Poor Wi-Fi. Verizon MiFi slow. AT&T hotspot OK. Site not level. First time in a long time I had to use my leveling blocks. Only good thing is fairly close to Philadelphia. We camped at Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Missoula KOA, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA Park is surrounded by a mobile home park. Very junky looking. Asked for a roof top satellite friendly site and they put us in a site with a very large tree that covered our roof area completely. They then moved us to a site that worked. Gravel sites with grass. Fairly tight to maneuver with a 34' 5th wheel. Overall one of the least favorite KOA's I have stayed at.. Would not stay here again We camped at Missoula KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, nice managers. Very quaint. Located in the community of Bothell but as soon as you enter the park which surrounds a small lake, you are surrounded by trees and peace and quiet greets you.Close to Seattle (about 16 miles to downtown). Only complaints are too expensive, feels more like $30-35 would be about right, and no free Wi-Fi. Our general experience anymore in our travels is free Wi-Fi. Also nice that they had propane available. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tillamook / Bay City RV Park, Tillamook, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Nice small park located 5 miles north of Tillamook. Very nice manager greeted us. Good free Wi-Fi. Good Verizon and AT&T cell coverage. Roof top satellite friendly. Our site only had 30 amp power but that was fine. Our daytime temps were in the 50s. Sewer connection is at the rear. I had to use an extension and just made it. Be sure to tour the Tillamook Cheese factory. Lot of fun! We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
