We have camped at this park many times before and were pleased. We camped this time on a long weekend and it was very crowded, there were many sites with up to four vehicles on them, and made it feel like a parking lot. They appear to overcharge for the long weekends. This is a lot to pay especially with no cable, and very poor Internet. The layout of this park is wasted as they have put a parking lot and volley ball court where there could be waterfront spots.

The web site for this park is misleading, as most of this park is not on the water but instead is in an open field surrounded by barbed wire. We were very disappointed in our spot on the Plateau, as it was surrounded by busy service roads and was right up against a storage facility. It appears that only the club members get the spots shown on their web site. Make sure you find out which site you are getting as their cancellation policy is seven days prior to arrival.

This is a beautiful campground, we were in the front section which is very peaceful with large patio sites. The main campground sites back on to the river and surround the pond, these sites are quite tightly spaced and are busy. The main campground appears to be quite busy. They have a large wet slide in the pond, they also have tubing and kayak rentals.Make sure you stock up as there are no stores close by.

This a very nice park, a little smaller in size, compared to most KOA campgrounds. The spots are large for KOA, with some mature trees. The deluxe pad sites have nice fire pits and landscaping.

This park looks like waterfront on the map but it does not have Waterfront sites. You can see out to the water, but it is very reedy, treed, and grown in. The sites close to the water were not long enough for our RV, or they were pre-booked. Office staff were difficult to find and did not appear to know which sites were available. I had to make 3 trips to the office before setting up. Sites are $23 but you have to buy a passport to get into the park.

This park is well run, clean but busy on the weekends, especially in the beach area. They have beautiful waterfront sites, but good luck trying to get one as they are booked months in advance. Michigan state parks force you to buy a passport to get into the park, which puts the camping rate up from the normal $23.00. Michigan campground designers appear to have the poorest designs as they have placed a huge new restroom right on the beach, it blocks the view of the water, not to mention it occupies 6 or 7 campsites that would be waterfront.

This park is definitely in my top 5 all time best campgrounds. If you are looking to spend a few quiet days and evenings with a beautiful view and peaceful surroundings this is it. Campground is very clean and well maintained. It has a small sandy beach near the docks, with fire pits for your evening fire. If you are into boating the launch ramp is right at your front door. There is not too much in the area for attractions, but a quaint little outdoor patio bar and Leeleanu Wine tasting in Omena are only a mile away.

It's a little out of the way, but a beautiful park, well maintained, very clean, excellent staff and owners. Lots of mature shade trees, great landscaping. They even pick up the garbage every morning. The only concern is the amount of golf carts driving around stirring up dust off the roads, being on a site close to the road or an intersection is not be pleasant.

This park is very small and noisy. The flies were out in full force and biting. The electrical system appears too old and the breaker tripped several times, leaving us without power. The spots assigned to medium to larger rigs are very small with only a little strip of grass, and very few trees. Very expensive for an overnight stay.

The pull through spots and deluxe spots are almost treeless, the back ins are better spots. The electrical breakers will pop of you run your ac and water heater at the same time. The rates charged are high considering the park is not that close to Hershey or shopping.

Great location to visit area attractions, just minutes to ocean. Mostly permanent sights, most were well maintained. We camped in a lovely spot facing the canal. Nice facilities: pool, office, store and laundry very clean. Our only complaint, the park needs more trees and shade. WiFi only works at front of the park near the activity centre.

The trailer spots in this campground are extremely unlevel, some to the point that you might feel your trailer may run away down hill. There was at least a foot difference between the front and rear of our thirty foot trailer. The front jack was at its extreme lower setting with only one small block under it. The spots up front are level looking but, no trees or shade of any kind. The spots are very cramped. Our tow vehicle was right up against our poor neighbors' picnic table. The fire ring was tight against the other neighbors' electrical and water supply. The Wi-Fi does not work in the wooded section. Typical KOA, overpriced.

Very nice park especially if you are going to Niagara Falls areas. Close to the outlet malls, easy highway access. Quiet except during the day, the dog barking is not kept in check.

There is a very misleading description in KOA book, wild horses nearby ?? Try an oil storage facility at the gates of the park. It is very run down, with many old, permanent trailers. We did not feel safe camping. We would never return.

There is lots to do in the area around the campground. There is very helpful staff. We loved the petting zoo. It is a clean and well maintained KOA.
