Holiday Hill Campground, Springwater, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park is mainly seasonal site and being a traveler, I felt a little unwelcome. The playground area was very large and offered a lot. The volleyball and playground was used by everyone well into dark! The dusk rule wasn't enforced what so ever. The heated pool also was very nice. From the main road to the campgrounds entrance it was quite a steep long hill to get up! Once in the park most sites seemed level enough. The "wooded area" had a dense tree covering with almost no grass to be seen. The area around the playground was full of plush green grass but with no trees. No real happy medium, that I saw. We camped at Holiday Hill Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Meadville KOA (Was Brookdale Family Campground), Meadville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

My family really enjoyed our 4 nights here! The fishing was very good for kids as well as adults. The camping supplies and store had a great selection and was priced below average on a lot of items. They had planned activities on Saturday as well as a preprinted schedule of the times of all the events. This was nice so you didn't miss your favorite events. The owners and staff are all very friendly and helpful. It was very relaxing to be at a campground that made the weekend folks feel as welcome as the seasonal. The only down fall was that the Mini-Golf was a little pricey but was very well taken care of. There are several pull through site for the moving hotels! The pull through site seemed to be set up nicely and were used often. We camped at Meadville KOA (Was Brookdale Family Campground) in a Tent Trailer.

Sprague Brook Park, Glenwood, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice county park. Electric sites are a bit close but the non-electric sites are very large. There really isn't a lot for young kids to do but enjoy the outdoors. Fishing the ponds was enjoyable but without much luck. This is a great park to go and just relax without much of a party atmosphere. We camped at Sprague Brook Park in a Tent Trailer.
