Cloud Nine Park, Hot Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This park is wonderful. Peaceful, great view of mountains. Sites are spaced well and have gravel. The internet directions state that the road leading to park has unpaved parts but it is paved from main entrance all the way to the park. Very friendly staff. Just a short drive to everything. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a very clean and quiet park. Level sites with gravel and picnic tables. Close to everything. Friendly, helpful staff. The sites in back of park a little closer than the ones in the front but not too bad. We would stay here again. We camped at Wanderlust RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Abbeville RV Park, Abbeville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Maybe it was a bad time to stay here. It had rained and the sites were soggy, with hardly any gravel. The sewer backed up. The hot tub advertised was not working and looked as if it hadn't worked in quiet some time. There were no paddle boats to rent as stated in the advertisement. They did have a pool table in the rec room. We will try the state park next time. We camped at Abbeville RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake D'Arbonne State Park, Farmerville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We really like this park and would give a higher rating if had sewer hook-ups. We were told that they are working on it but we haven't seen it yet. Very shady sites with fire rings, picnic tables, concrete pads. Plenty of room between sites. They have fishing piers for fishing. There is a boat dock one road down from rv park entrance. Peaceful, neatly kept. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lake D'Arbonne State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
