Olympia Village RV Park & Campground, Waterdown, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The previous review of this park is way out of date. We stayed here for 6 weeks in a 35' 5th wheel. The management is extremely friendly and helpful. Yes, there are some older seasonal trailers, so what! The residents are friendly, there is a large pool that is lifeguarded (wish it was heated) and a new playground for the kids. We had our grandkids there with us for a month and they loved it! There is a new section in the back that just opened up that are all pull through, that section isn't shaded though. There are also some pull-throughs closer to the front. The shower facilities are limited, only one shower per gender by the pool. However, it was clean. There is a dance every Sat night during the summer. We enjoyed our time there and would return. Most reasonably priced campground around! We camped at Olympia Village RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

There are lots of hiking/cycling trails and great opportunity for wildlife sightings. We had a lovely view from the upper campground. This is just a nice all round park. We camped at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in a Motorhome.

Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2005 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This park is clean and management is helpful. WiFi is available but costs $6 for a 12 hr block. We have stayed at less expensive campgrounds that offer it at no extra charge. Cable costs extra as well. There is a phone line available, however, all dial-up is long distance. We were there in late April. Even though temps were in 80's the pool wasn't open yet. We camped at Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA in a Motorhome.

Sun Valley RV Resort (formerly Root 66 RV Park), Sun Valley, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2005 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here as it was a Passpot America park. It was so dilapadated and unappealing that we did not stay. The shower consisted of a run down looking single wood structure. There are gutted buildings. It didn't have a very good feel to it and is within a few feet of I-40. Light sleepers beware. We camped at Sun Valley RV Resort (formerly Root 66 RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2005 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park advertises a pool, however it is an above ground type and there wasn't any water in it. The campground has a dilapadated feel to it. Thankfully we were spending one night. We would have looked elsewhere if staying in Ft Stockton longer. We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Motorhome.
