After dark arrival on our way home after Xmas. from our winter walkabout. As usual, 3rd time, the owner was awaiting for us to drive in, met us outside, directed us to a fine overnight site. Water available to fill our fresh tank at site even during the coldest weather. Sleepy sunflower is near I -80. so there is highway noise, but that is a small issie in consideration of their service and amenity.

Excellent quick check in, escort to choice of sites. We enjoyed making a campfire in their roomy community area by the creek. Do ask for the ladys cinnamon buns she makes every morning.

This is a new camp still under development. access is easy just south of the truck stop but way behind. No road noise at all. Superb broadband wifi, the best weve ever seen. My hat is off to Richard & Ardell for their vision.

Date of Stay:

check in expedient, site wide, level, long enough for our 70' double tow. Groundskeeping superb. Water off during freezing temps, on to fill our fresh tank as needed. A wonderful find who operates his camp as meticulouly as we do our own. Direction to great restaurants, caving, antiquieing, tips to 'bourbon trail ' starting points A definite return place.

Maintenance and cleanliness by the current staff was exceptional. residents and transients were friendly alike. Access to the park easy off I -10. Utilities good. Short term stay pull throughs close together, backins roomier. If a back in is available, consider it. Highway noise and burrs were not a problem for us.

Very good instructions for late arrivals. Be careful of directions to them, as without escort to short term sites, turns can be confusing. Short term sites level, long and defined. We enjoyed our overnight visit.

Serviceable. An older camp, with nice folks. A parking spot with hook ups. Friendly managers and residents, both long term and visitors. Felt Safe. Showers dated, laundry quite nice. Hookups good, shared with the very close side by side neighbor on the pull thru sites, back ins were more attractive and spacious.

Off season visit. Hwy Signage and directions to campsites and self serve registration very easy. Utilities bang on. All pull thru sites w/ concrete pad, 45', a bit short, so tow- towed park alongside, on gravel. Nice landscaping, attractive buildings well maintained. Washrooms and laundry very clean, always open.

Owner met us right away at self registration and directed us to a site to fit our double tow 70' unit. We saw about 1/2 of the sites were as long and accommodating. All we saw were side be side sharing utilities but quite roomy, so no slide or awning issues I could see. Interesting, they have a rate structure that is very reasonable to larger than 18' units. Very good wifi free from several antennas. Maintenance, safety, access, utilities, facilities were well kept. Train & highway traffic noise noticeable, but not an issue.

A very full park at our week visit time with many long term residents. It was crowded. We enjoyed the well behaved resident children's antics, regard the staff as professional, and helpful in directing us to a resident that cared for our young pet while we were away on day trips.

Date of Stay:

Under new ownership. Management is better than it was in our previous overnights in years past. Facilities show good maintenance. Enhancement of rules reflects both the mostly current residential nature and the quality of experience by staff and owners.

Date of Stay:

Professional and friendly. Escort to site was expedient, cordial, cognitive of our experience. Complimentary Continental breakfast above expectation. Site level and hookups served well.

Park manager met us outside after office hours and escorted us to a site (17) with a tremendous view of the Anderson valley. This park is on top of a hill with a very steep approach with 2 switchback turns in. Do not let this bother you, it is doable with any rig.

Date of Stay:

Exceptional. given their off season we had our choice of sites. When we had rare contact with others, it was with locals who had come for fishing in the smith river. Phone was good, internet poor even with our own mifi boosting system.
