Half Moon Pond State Park, Fair Haven, Vermont

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

My family and I camp here every year. This is a nice quiet clean campground. The staff here run this campground excellent. I have not been to any place yet that matches this campground. If you want a nice quiet, clean get away camp here. We camped at Half Moon Pond State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cedar Point State Park, Clayton, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

My family and I have stayed at this park for over 6 years to visit the area on vacation. Park was dirty, loud with unruly teenagers whose parents were highly intoxicated, and the NYS Park Police kicked out numerous campers over a 2 nite period. After that it was quiet, but kids were still up to sometimes until 2am. Bathrooms were not very clean and I choose to use my trailer bathroom to shower and use the toilet. My family and I hope this park turns around with some older rangers/help running the park in the future. Overall, until changes are made we will find alternate park to stay at in the thousand island region. We camped at Cedar Point State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice wooded sites where you can walk right onto your own beach. Wood and other vendors come around which is a nice amenity. Overall a nice campground to camp at with your family. Bathrooms were clean along with the showers. We camped at Rollins Pond Campground in a Travel Trailer.

My wife and I took our trailer here for our very first maiden trip. The sites were flat, clean and nicely wooded. This park is a nice family park that has a nice beach area and boat launch. We camped at Thompson's Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.
