Date of Stay:

We stayed here in a 5th wheel in 2004 when the park was fairly new. Things have changed, the trees have matured, we have a 40' motorhome now. It was difficult getting the motorhome in our site, it just fits on the width of the slab. I tow a full size PU and it is barely fitting on the site. The cottonwood trees are shedding at this time of year and it looks like we are having a snow storm, makes for quite a mess in and on the rig. The staff is very pleasant. The park is kept up nicely except they should mow the lawns a little more often. WiFi is very good. Verizon phone service is non existent. Our friends that have ATT have great service.

We stayed here a month and got a great rate. The staff was terrific. The power at the sites in the rear went off and on several times. They promptly took care of it to get it back on. The sites are over grown with trees and shrubs, they need some TLC to say the least. The sites are a little difficult getting into as they are narrow. We will come back next year and hopefully they will have done some maintenance on the park.

Staff was very friendly at check-in. I did not use the WiFi but we were told by the staff that it was intermittent and slow. Sites are pretty close together. The park is very convenient to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wind & Jewel Caves, Hill City and Custer State Park. Good Sam discount is available if you ask for it, they do not ask you. We would stay here again.

We only stayed two nights but would come back here any time we are in the area. We stayed in the B loop, the sites are large, and there are no obstructions for the satellite dish.

Nice clean park with large sites, plenty of room. Good location. We have stayed here in the past and will stay there again when in the area.
