Riverview RV Park & Campground, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This park is old and needs maintenance, the roads in the park are all dirt and anyone driving on them leaves a large dust cloud. The site we stayed in is very close to the neighbor, both their door and ours open on the same side and their picnic table is about 5' from our door. The fire ring is also about 5' from our rig. There is 50amp power but it is very weak. Started out at 115 volts on each leg and dropped when using power in the coach. So far it has not tripped my EMS. We definitely would look for another park to stay in if we return to this area. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Holiday RV Park, North Platte, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed overnight here. It had rained before we got to the park and there were a lot of pot holes filled with water. There was standing water in our site which made it difficult to hook up the utilities. Also the sewer is in the rear and if you want to stay hooked up to the tow vehicle you will need a long sewer hose. Staff was very friendly. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fremont Lakes State Recreation Area, Fremont, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in site 76 in our motorhome. The site was difficult to get into because of the trees and bushes across from it. The site only has 30amp power which to our surprise ran both of the a/c's. The mosquitoes were viscous, I wish they would do some abatement in the park. Also was surprised to have to pay another fee for a park pass on top of the site fee. We camped at Fremont Lakes State Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park), El Mirage, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a month at this resort. The noise from Luke AFB was pretty loud in the mornings and late afternoons. Some evenings the noise went past 10pm. Golfing was excellent. There is plenty to do in the park and the area around El Mirage. We camped at Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground, Virgin, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 5th wheel in 2004 when the park was fairly new. Things have changed, the trees have matured, we have a 40' motorhome now.

It was difficult getting the motorhome in our site, it just fits on the width of the slab. I tow a full size PU and it is barely fitting on the site.

The cottonwood trees are shedding at this time of year and it looks like we are having a snow storm, makes for quite a mess in and on the rig.

The staff is very pleasant. The park is kept up nicely except they should mow the lawns a little more often.

WiFi is very good. Verizon phone service is non existent. Our friends that have ATT have great service. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Zion NP is just up the road, so this is a good location to stay while visiting the area.

Oregon Coast RV Resort (formerly Surfwood RV Campground), Reedsport, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here a month and got a great rate. The staff was terrific. The power at the sites in the rear went off and on several times. They promptly took care of it to get it back on. The sites are over grown with trees and shrubs, they need some TLC to say the least. The sites are a little difficult getting into as they are narrow. We will come back next year and hopefully they will have done some maintenance on the park. We camped at Oregon Coast RV Resort (formerly Surfwood RV Campground) in a Motorhome.

Horse Thief Campground & RV Resort, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was very friendly at check-in. I did not use the WiFi but we were told by the staff that it was intermittent and slow. Sites are pretty close together. The park is very convenient to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wind & Jewel Caves, Hill City and Custer State Park. Good Sam discount is available if you ask for it, they do not ask you. We would stay here again. We camped at Horse Thief Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We only stayed two nights but would come back here any time we are in the area. We stayed in the B loop, the sites are large, and there are no obstructions for the satellite dish. We camped at Champoeg State Heritage Area in a Motorhome.
