Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 5 nights and loved this place. Stayed here years ago and the park is in much better shape than I remembered. Very clean park with excellent facilities, even had place to wash cars. Everyone, including office people were very friendly to us. Great location at edge of town, walk to places even 11th Street Cowboy Bar. We will return. We camped at Pioneer River Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Good overnight stop for I-10 travelers that accepts PPA (Passport America). WiFi was weak, but that seems to be the norm for RV parks. Will stay here again..... We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Circle B RV Park, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed all summer and love this park. Best in area by far. Rate shown is monthly rate. All utilities and facilities are top notch. We will return next year for our third summer. Only reason I did not rate as a "10" is that the restrooms are kept locked and accessible only with an extra charge. If you are attending a function and need to use the facilities you have to go to your RV. We camped at Circle B RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Route 1069 RV Resort, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the park and the guests. Well managed park. Maintenance was good with no problems encountered. Good location. WI-FI was "iffy" and cable TV was hit and miss, but altogether was a good experience. This is my favorite RV park in this area. We camped at Route 1069 RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Riverside RV Park, Bandera, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights at PPA rate of $11. Very nice smaller park and convenient to town. If you have not been to Bandera, put it on your bucket list. Enjoyed the park, would have been a 10 but showers/rest rooms needed some cleaning. We camped at Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Circle B RV Park, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is based on monthly stay. This is a great RV Park. Quiet and convenient location. All facilities are clean and well kept. Stayed 2 months and will be back. Only fault I found was when the park was full (which it usually is) we could not get WiFi at our western edge of park site. Reception available in lounge. This is by far the nicest RV Park in Ruidoso area.. We camped at Circle B RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was a good night stopover place. Site was a good size level pull-through with good utility service. Very professional staff. Wi-Fi was very weak. Rate is with the Passport America discount. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is with the Passport America discount. This is a very barren park with not much going for it. However, it is well worth the price for a one night stop. All utilities were in good working order. Showers were clean and very usable. We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The previous reviews just about say it all. This is in the top 3 RV parks we have ever visited. I would have given it a 10 rating but the Wi-Fi did not work during our overnight stay. Many of our friends have stayed here and just raved about the place so we had to see for ourselves. They were right. Great location among the old Missions and about 3 miles from the River Walk area. We stayed here using our PPA card. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Colonia del Rey RV Park, Corpus Christi, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $20.00

Rate is with Passport America. Your basic Winter Texan park with small sites close together. Some were grass sites others were concrete. Older park, but very adequate. We camped at Colonia del Rey RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Galveston Island State Park, Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very basic campground in semi-remote location just a short walk to beach. Surprised it was still there after all the hurricane issues not long ago. Try it if you want a quiet beach stay. We camped at Galveston Island State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed 2 nights for an event at the event center. Decent park, clean and nice location. The staff was short and seemed overwhelmed. Sites on the hill were not level but workable. Would stay again. We camped at Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Rayford Crossing RV Resort, Spring, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

In over 25 years of RV travels this is the nicest park we have stayed in. It is beautiful, well located and the people working there were great. We were escorted to our site, water tap cleaned with bleach for us, electric box was swept clear of any bugs, and picnic table was washed. This is a must stay park and we will return. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Huntsville State Park, Huntsville, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very shady park. Overall it was OK, but there was not a level site in the campground. Like most state parks this one could stand more maintenance and cleaning in the restroom areas. Good location, not a bad stop over place. We camped at Huntsville State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Amarillo Ranch RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

The sites were huge. Very clean showers and restrooms. Free coffee and rolls in the morning. We did not call ahead for reservation and they would not honor PPA rate. We camped at Amarillo Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
