Colonial Woods Family Camping Resort, Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground, good location, nice grounds. Was crowded when I was there. Pool area looked really, really busy (did not go in). Overall, a good choice in Bucks County area. We camped at Colonial Woods Family Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Jim Thorpe Camping Resort, Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

It is pretty much the only game in town, campground-wise. Good location with proximity to Jim Thorpe town, mtn. biking, ATV riding, whitewater rafting. Campground looks pretty much unchanged over the past 30 years--and as I've been going to JThorpe for 30 years, can confirm it's not much different. It's "rustic", but passable. It's not a "resort" by any stretch, or even close to KOA standards, but it gets the job done. Best attributes are what's around it--streams, mtns, J Thorpe, and all it offers. We camped at Jim Thorpe Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
