Lake Lurleen State Park, Coker, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park, but with most State Parks lately, needs a little TLC. The park is easily accessable with big rigs. There is a nice, sandy beach area for swimming. The staff keeps the park very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We camped at Lake Lurleen State Park in a Motorhome.

Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA, Sallisaw, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Have stayed at this KOA several times and each time found it to be one of the best KOA's. Sites are large and level. Read the previous post about being charged for electric. I have never been asked to pay electric. Never seen any meters at any of the sites. I will stay at this park again when in the area. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

South Haven Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort (formerly South Ha, South Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a 2-year old campground so therefore there are no trees yet. The campground is very well kept and the managers are very friendly. I would rate it higher if they had cable TV. It's very big-rig accessable. The free Wi-Fi was very strong at our site. We camped at South Haven Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort (formerly South Ha in a Motorhome.

Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA), Clayton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, easy in and out, park. Excellent for a night or two. The sites were large and long with plenty of room between sites. The utilities were up to par, meaning good water pressure, good elec, and sewer was placed so as not to need long hose. Friendly management and the manager even offered to help unhook the toad. Have stayed here before and will stop again. We camped at Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA) in a Motorhome.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park and well kept. They had entertainment one night that was free and as good as any expensive show. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only reason I rated this park a 7 is there is no cable and all the hookups are at the back of the site, requiring a very long sewer hose, water hose, and electric cord. I used the dump station as a lot of others did. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Casino Queen RV Park, East Saint Louis, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park would be a 9 if in another area and had a pool on the grounds. However; in spite of the location, this is a very nice park. The staff could not be nicer. The hotel pool was made available. We have stayed at this park on 3 different occasions and found it to be very convenient to St Louis. Each time our site has been almost perfectly level and did not even need to use boards to level. I will stay here again. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cooper Creek Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

If you like to fish this campground is the best of the best. Plus, the staff is second to none when it comes to making you feel welcome. Another plus is that it is only 5 minutes to anywhere on the strip. We have checked others in Branson but keep coming back to Cooper Creek. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
