Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground, Yuma, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

I have stayed her several times. The park is VERY clean. They keep improving it and now have several sites with concrete pads and decks. Lots of room to walk dogs. Nice sized pond for fishing. Great owners! I pulled in by myself one time and it was raining. It was a downpour. The owner lead me to the site and asked me if he could hook me up. I said only electric right now.

He proceeded to hook up E, S, W, and cable - checking with me to see all worked. If you travel I 40 in TN and need a place - go here! We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Long Branch COE, Lancaster, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

I love this campground! It is on the hill above Caney Fork Rive - a trout stream. You can canoe or kayak also. Then there is Center Hill Lake to fish and boat on. Very clean and big shady sites for the most part. We camped at Long Branch COE in a Motorhome.

The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here one night while traveling. I think the roads must have been scraped as they weren't too bad. Felt very comfortable here. The woman I talked to was still in the office at 7:30PM when I arrived, and she came down and helped me into my site. I really appreciated that as I could not read the site numbers. The Wi-Fi was very good. Would stay here again for a day or two. We camped at The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC in a Motorhome.

Silver Slipper Casino RV Park, Waveland, Mississippi

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place, but just a parking area with no facilities. What was great, was the ocean view and the fact we could just take our dogs across a small street and let them get their feet wet! The campground person was very nice and told us how to get a free night by getting the players club. Shuttle to the casino was easy to access when you wanted. It was clean. We camped at Silver Slipper Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Dauphin Island Campground, Dauphin Island, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Loved my stay there! The campground is older and you sometimes park back to side of other rigs, but it is comfortable enough. The campground was clean and staff was nice. The best thing is the closeness to the water and the best trails in the attached Audubon Bird Sanctuary. They are easy to walk and the dogs are welcome. There is a lot to see on the island itself. We camped at Dauphin Island Campground in a Motorhome.

Pontchartrain Landing, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Had a very good experience of camping there while seeing New Orleans. It was very comfortable and close enough to the French Quarter to easily drive to it. We did not use the shuttle, but I think it would be good for most. We have prior N O residences, so we toured with them driving. Dog park area was big enough for the 2 big dogs we have to stretch their legs. Staff was very helpful. Wi-Fi worked and cable was good. We camped at Pontchartrain Landing in a Motorhome.

Agricenter International RV Park, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I don't have as bad an opinion of other posters and have been there recently. The park is not pretty, but serviceable. It is for people who have other activities in Memphis. I felt safe. There was good area to walk dogs. There is great shopping and restaurants in the area. The ag center has a lot of land and there are parks in the area. We camped at Agricenter International RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kansas City East Trailside RV Park, Grain Valley, Missouri

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Although others have rated this park low, I have stayed here two nights and been very comfortable. There is also a 40 foot diesel pusher across from me. I am in the electric and water only, so I am not in the section with long term or full-timers. There are basically newer rigs around me. The staff are very friendly and accessible by cell phone all hours. They have installed new Wi-Fi and I have a perfect signal. Best Wi-Fi I have had in a campground. The only real negative for me is the area for dog walk. I have 3 dogs of the 65 lb variety and the area for walking is very narrow. I have been visiting family and do not need activities, so there is no problem there. I will likely stay here again in the winter when the county parks are not open. We camped at Kansas City East Trailside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sam's Town RV Park , Robinsonville, Mississippi

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

It was very nice and very clean. Wonderful place to walk the dogs and people were , for the most part, good about keeping the pet area clean. Staff were nice and even told us not to worry when we ran over time when leaving. Very convenient location and the casino was within walking distance. A shuttle was available if you called, but had a toad and did not use the service. We camped at Sam's Town RV Park in a Motorhome.
