Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

OK for overnight. Basically just a dusty place to park that last saw maintenance a few years ago. Sites are flat and level but watch out for goatheads if you walk anywhere! An expensive night for just electric and water. Did not try the restaurant. Must have been a tough day for the host from his attitude. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Old and dusty, just hooked up electric for AC and stayed overnight. The casino is small and the restaurant is too but a good steak and eggs is only $5.99 Sorta OK for and overnight stay when on the road. Pay the casino cashier. We camped at Indian Springs Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

American RV Resort-Medford, Talent, Oregon

Easy off and on the highway, but noisy. Overnight only and only used the electric. A lot of permanent parties here, but very convenient for a traveler. Would stay here again if passing through, but not as a destination. We camped at American RV Resort-Medford in a Motorhome.

Vernal / Dinosaurland KOA, Vernal, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Office personnel were really great and friendly. The park had a lot of what appeared to be transit workers. The sites were very narrow and crowded. WiFi worked great. Good for an overnight sleep but too crowded for more than that; at least at the KOA price. Cable TV was $1 extra! We camped at Vernal / Dinosaurland KOA in a Motorhome.
