We enjoyed our stay at Big Timber Lake. The camp site was a nice size and we were next to the lake. The pool is an okay size, but if it got crowded, we went to the lake which was nice and clean. Lots of seasonal campers with huge set ups, but everyone was very friendly. Avalon and Stone Harbor beaches are very close by with lots of things to see and do. Wonderful place to stay at the Jersey shore! We will be going back for a week next summer.

We've always loved this campground. Our only complaint use to be that the pool was so small! So when they started building the water park, we were excited. When we were there in June the water park was not completed yet, so we did not have to pay the resort fee. I have to say, we were shocked that the new rates were so high! I don't think the water park should be included in the camping rates. If you want to go in the park for the day, then there should be a separate fee. I just think $90 a night for camping is a little much! We do love this campground though. The sites are a nice size, the new camp store is gorgeous and the grounds are nicely maintained. The cabins are beautiful. However, I do think if they want to keep people coming back for more, they need to re-think the rates. We will probably go back next summer before the resort fees are included.

This campground is beautifully maintained. It has been our favorite campground to date. The staff is very friendly and courteous and the sites are a nice size. The pools are large and very nice. There are also many great tourist sites and shops very close by. We enjoyed our weekend here immensely and look forward to going back again next summer.
