We found this to be a great cg. Quite, clean and friendly. Many permanent set ups. This is a good place for walks and getting away from the stress for a while. We will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Raccoon Holler Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Average state park. Sites are a nice size and near water. We would camp here again in the fall or spring when the weather is cooler. We camped at Lake Hartwell State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Zooland Family Campground, Asheboro, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Brought the family to this area to visit the NC Zoo. This is a very nice park with decent pull through sites. Many things to entertain the kids. Jumping pillow a top hit. Cookout and breakfast were good and cost a minimum. Quite and relaxing with a family friendly attitude. Staff were very helpful and friendly. One of the nicest stores I have seen on a cg of this size. Cable would have been nice but worth doing without for this stay. We plan to be back for their Christmas festivities! I would camp here again, any time! We camped at Zooland Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Carolina Country Campground, Salisbury, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small cg. Nice not great. We did meet some friendly staff and campers, had lost a coupling from a water line and several pitched in to help find a replacement. We were here just overnight so did not get a true feeling for what it might be like for a long period of time. We will try it again some time. We camped at Carolina Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.
