Rancheria RV Park, Hat Creek, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I have stayed at this park a number of times over the years most recently in July. It's near Hat Creek, nice sites and close to the area I like to fish and hike. I noticed in the last comment about the recent fire and the owners leaving.. I called up to see if the RV park is still there and was informed it was. However the park owner lost her home in the fire along with her neighbors homes and business. I hope you post this as an explanation of why they may have left so fast. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Kamp Klamath RV Park, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice shaded park in a beautiful part of California. We enjoyed the salmon and chicken BBQ, the great trail thru the woods, along the ocean and river. I had hoped to catch some salmon but no luck. We did catch some very large redtail surf perch. We really had a good time and were well taken care of by the friendly staff. We will return to this campground. We camped at Kamp Klamath RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rancheria RV Park, Hat Creek, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with large sites and plenty of elbow room. Liked the restaurant on grounds in this rural area. Pond was very scenic with lots of ducks, frogs, etc. Used the free Wi-Fi for 2 hours per day and worked great. We liked the no cell phone receptions to allow for a more relaxing weekend. Fishing and sight seeing in area was wonderful. I will be back. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Railroad Park RV Resort, Dunsmuir, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Like the location of this park. It's near Dunsmuir for Railroad Days, a creek runs through it, has good fishing nearby and lots of quiet and shade. Dislikes: it's run down and needs attention. Firepits, sites, tables and grounds need effort. A little work would go along way. I may stay here again. We camped at Railroad Park RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Hat Creek Campground (USFS), Old Station, California

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

This park is here for one reason, Hat Creek fishing. It is a typical forest service campground, that means great location but no amenities. Just my cup of tea!!! We stay here several times a year to fish, explore and enjoy nature. Bring your own stuff, LIMITED restaurants, fuel and services, but GREAT nature. We camped at Hat Creek Campground (USFS) in a Travel Trailer.
