Wendover KOA, West Wendover, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA. Sites aren't bad, but the fire ring for the space next to ours is in the middle of our hook-ups. Spots are a bit short. Pet area wasn't great either. Will stay again, but only beause it's the only show in town. Wi-fi is ok, but they put us close to the office, in the outer areas of the park it's iffy. Office staff was nice. We camped at Wendover KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA, Cannonville, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA. Nice scenery. We got 23 channels with a reg. antenna and had cell service (US Cell). Sites were OK, had to use boards to level one side, but no biggie. Could be a beautiful park, most of the staff was friendly. Wi-Fi worked fine. Would stay here again. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Kanab RV Corral, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff (the British couple). The spots are narrow. The nights we stayed there the park was less than 40% full yet they put everyone next to each other. They had plenty of spots to spread folks out, but wouldn't do it. The hook-ups are right next to your eating area. When people are backing in and hooking up they are right in your doorway. Gravel sights and ours was level. They had major flooding this winter and the damage has been repaired, but they lost a lot of the pull-throughs. Our back-in was OK. There is street noise, but it is quiet at night. Wi-Fi works great. Good cell service and we got over 20 channels over the air. Probably won't stay here again. We camped at Kanab RV Corral in a Travel Trailer.

Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground, Virgin, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, we had grass with our site. Very pet friendly. We had no cell service- U. S. Cellular, but we could text. Even though the park is very nice, thought the rates were really high. The office staff was very friendly and helpful as were all the camp hosts. The Wi-Fi worked great. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Highlands RV Park, Bishop, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Price was not worth the value. Will look for another campground on next trip through. Staff was not overtly friendly and office closed at 5. They did have a nice grassy area for the dogs. Sites were reasonably level. We camped at Highlands RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna, California

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Park has 20% live-ins in old, dirty trailers/MH. They do not follow breed restrictions (pit-bull in camp). Fairly quiet for this size of park. Wi-Fi worked great, the sites were level. We camped at Riverwalk RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Golden Rule RV Park, Willits, California

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet park. Spots are narrow. The power boxes are only 10-12" tall and you have to get down on your knees to plug in. Water, power and sewer are all in a 24 inch square. Lots of birds and wildlife. No cell service, but you can get it up the road approximately a mile. We camped at Golden Rule RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park, very busy, but quiet. They need to mow the lawn, looks like it hasn't been done in several weeks. They have pet areas, but they are all dirt/gravel. We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Timberlake Campground & RV, Stevenson, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to go if you want peace and quiet. While the roads are a bit steep, it comes with the area. The owner and staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure everything is ok. It's even quiet on the week-ends. The owner deals with noise issues quickly and in a professional manner. Being up and awhile from the road and train noise is wonderful. We camped at Timberlake Campground & RV in a Travel Trailer.

Sea and Sand RV Park, Depoe Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We did not want an ocean view site due to high wind conditions. "Forested" sites are narrow, thank goodness we were the only ones down here. When inquirying about staying an additional night office person said she wasn't sure, would have to check. We were the only ones in the area and not all of the 'ocean view' sites were occupied. Many of the sites are very small We camped at Sea and Sand RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
