Thousand Trails - Bend/Sunriver, Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful Park. Large, almost private sites. I could not give a 10, because not sewer hook ups, WiFi is terrible and no real dish access. I did manage to get DirectTV, but only a few sites have this capability. Even though I gave it an 8 I think this is a fantastic park! By the way they do have two dump stations, you just have to be careful with your gray water if you stay long. We camped at Thousand Trails - Bend/Sunriver in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon, Coburg, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Over-priced. Very Clean. Park does not enforce dog leash rule. I had to wait for three different unleashed dogs to be taken back to owners RV before I could let my dog get to run. If you like to sleep with a window partially open, the freeway noise is very loud. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon in a Motorhome.

Bridgeview RV Resort, Grants Pass, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice and hard working caretakers. Very clean. I would rate higher but the freeway is across the river about 1000 yards. Watched salmon work up the river. Pet friendly and all pets were on leash while we were here. We were going to stay a few days and ended up staying a week. We camped at Bridgeview RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Grandview Campground & RV Park, Hardin, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice host. Kept clean. There is a mobile home park next door, so it looks like the wrong place when you drive up. Owner brought in a mobile barbecue with ribs, pork and brisket smoked on site. Very reasonable and tasty. Great Internet access. We camped at Grandview Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hart Ranch Camping Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with paved sites. More than 40' to the next row of coaches. Had good separation. Nice little restaurant by the pool. So much to do from here. First time stay with this very low rate, you have a 45 minute sales pitch. We camped at Hart Ranch Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Laramie KOA, Laramie, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Not the kind of KOA we are used to. Internet only OK, for surfing the web. If you want to go to itunes and get a podcast or two or music or larger email, wait till after midnight and before 5 AM. Our site and many others were far from level. I had to drive one side up on blocks to get it close and then had to run 25' of sewer hose. Very, very noisy, 400 yards from freeway with nothing in-between. Employee's were nice, and apologized for poor Internet. The front part of the park was much nicer, but smaller rigs, no pull-throughs. Dog area was good. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Motorhome.
