The only good points I have to say about the park is that it is fairly close to Yosemite and the Wi-Fi was adequate. We had a water and electric site. Very dusty but could have been corrected with a little effort. There is a petting zoo for kids. Now the bad points. The most important factor in running a business is customer satisfaction. That factor is totally missing here. Their standard answer is "get used to it" or "take it or leave it". Be aware that there is a $5.00 fee for dumping. So that means you pay the same fee as those who have full hook-ups except you have the inconvenience of having to stop and use the dump station. Maybe I have been lucky, but in 25 years of RVing from coast to coast, I have NEVER been charged for dumping when I was a paying guest at a private park, state park, or Corp of Engineer's park. I will not ever return there and will let everyone I know not to go there. Go with the understanding that you will regret it.

What a joy to stay where you are treated like a friend. Park is very clean and quiet. As stated in other posts, it is a mobile home community for age 55 and older with about 30 RV sites. When here you feel like a member of the community. The staff member we dealt with, was so nice and helpful. Sequoia NP is only 38 miles away. We would definitely return. Stayed 3 nights and wished it could have been longer.

The previous posts are right on the money. This is a jewel that we found by default. We tried to camp in the NP but that didn't work out. The Lord blessed us with this park instead. It is quiet, very clean, and family friendly. All sites are on a pretty stream. Lots of trees and a down home feeling. Staff is very friendly and helpful. On every trip we seem to find a surprise campground, and this is the one for this trip.

This would not ever be my first choice. There is no signage as to where you check in. Check-in is in the convenience store. Had to ask how to check-in. Price to camp is very high for what you get. This is NOT a resort and should be priced around $30. Not all sites have 50 amp service. Sites are very much in need of a re-do. The whole park needs a face lift. There is a lot of junk that needs to be disposed. Apparently there are no set rules of behavior. No available trash bins in the camping area. All in all, if this is the only place available to me, I will wait and come at another time. On a positive note, the Wi-Fi reception was excellent.

The park is a work in progress. The owner is really laid back and very nice. He is adding new things to the park in a fast pace. Campsites are nice with full hook-ups. The grounds are very nice and tranquil. Do not miss the free tour of the Poche Plantation! Owner is full of humor and his knowledge is a treasure. Wi-Fi was spotty but we were able to access it daily. This park is centrally located between Baton Rouge and New Orleans and the best location to visit all the plantations. We will definitely return.

Parish run park. All sites are spacious and either asphalt or concrete, and mostly shaded. Restrooms/showers are very clean and maintained. Nice laundry available. It is on a beautiful lake with fishing piers, boat launch, and swimming beach. I would rate this park a 10 if it had full hookups at every site, W&E with dump station. In my mind, to be called a resort, there should at least be 50/30 amps at each site with sewer. We have stayed here three times and will stay there again.

Very nice gated RV park. Staff was friendly and helpful. All sites are concreted and level. Very wide interior roads. Park has a centrally located lake, heated swimming pool, and a playground. I would have rated it a 10 if there were more shade trees and the noise level due to traffic was less. Of course, being in the city makes that out of the owner's control. Very conveniently located to the medical centers, Reliant Stadium, etc. Would stay here again.

Very nice park about a mile from downtown. Gravel, level pull-thru sites. Full hookups w/ cable. Some sites are a little close together. Patio & picnic table right next to the adjacent RV. Staff was very nice and friendly and efficient. Would definitely camp here again.

Very well landscaped. Escorted to site and helped getting set up. Sites are separated by shrubs and are gravel and level. Some back-in sites are tight getting in to. Interior roads need to be resurfaced. Convenient to interstate and downtown Austin. Short distance to San Marcos outlet malls and Cabela's. Nice individual cabins. There are individual restrooms and showers that are immaculate. We would stay here again.

Great park to overnight. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Views are outstanding. All sites are level and restrooms, etc. are excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

This park is in a beautiful setting with mountains surrounding it. The park is well laid out and sites are spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The negatives I found are the utility hook-ups are a stretch to reach. I had to use 3 sewer hoses to reach the sewer connection. The electrical was also a stretch. WiFi was free but very spotty, not consistently available and also slow. No cable TV. Each site has its own elec. meter, 15 cents per kw hour above the price of the site. I think if you advertise as an RV resort, these things should be included. I would stay here again due to the fact that they are the closest RV park to Creede and the views are incredible!

The state is upgrading the state parks but this one apparently is in the process. Visitors center, amphitheater, and restrooms all look to be upgraded and new. I camped here 20 years ago and the campground sites about the same. Most of the pads need to be resurfaced and the campsites need serious upgrading. Water pressure was excellent. Sites are difficult to get into. Roads in the campground are narrow and two way. If there was anyone in the site across from me, I would have never gotten into my site. I had to pull up into that site to get a decent angle to back into my site. The only reason to go there is to dig for diamonds. If the campsites had been upgraded, I would have rated it at least an 8.

This is one of the nicest parks in a rural setting we have ever stayed. Well manicured and owners are RVers themselves and know what we want. I was told by regular returning guests that the owner always tries add something new each year to upgrade. We are already anticipating returning next year and staying at least 2 weeks. We planned to stay only 3 days but ended up staying 6 days. All sights have full hook-ups and are nicely spaced. We stayed there in a fifthwheel.

Stopped here for overnight stay. Well kept park and good staff. I would stay here if in the Albuquerque area for an extended visit. Not far off the interstate but noise is not noticeable.

Very nicely layed out RV park. Some sites are fairly close but acceptable. I would stay here again. Staff helpful and really work to make this park nice.
