Yellow Jacket Campground, Old Town, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

We were very dissatisfied. Website is somewhat misleading. Staff or owners of campground very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Campground was probably 85% empty. I stayed in a campground cabin. The room I was given was very unclean. The bedding was unclean and room smelled of dog and mold. Requested a different cabin but was told I could not have one, although there were others available. I was denied a refund to go somewhere else as it was prepaid on my debit card. I am allergic to mold so my stay was very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would not recommend visiting here as they are very unfriendly and you are made to feel as though you have no freedom to enjoy the campground they advertise on their website. The price of 140 dollars per night is not worth the drive to this campground. To bad, the scenery is beautiful but not worth it. We camped at Yellow Jacket Campground in a Campground Cabin.

Angler's RV Campground (formerly Rainbow Country RV Campground), Cedar Key, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This lovely park is very close to beautiful small town of Cedar key. People and staff were nice and helpful. We had a great time at clam festival and fireworks were beautiful. We camped at Angler's RV Campground (formerly Rainbow Country RV Campground) in a Tent Trailer.
