What a lovely campground, close to I-70 but not noisy, so a great overnight stop. Sites are all long level pull throughs so no need to unhitch. There is lots of grass, but not enough trees. The pool is lovely, and not a bad size. Everything is well kept and very nice. Wi-Fi worked well. There is a truck stop at the interstate exit, very convenient for filling up before the next day's drive. We chose a W/E site as only one night, hence lower rate inc KOA discount.

There are only 13 RV sites and 7 tent sites, so we felt the need to book online, which costs $10. Then you have to pay a $7 day use fee, which makes it a bit expensive at $39 altogether. The place is very attractive with grass and trees and the sites are very spacious, 8 pull through loops and four back ins. There is no TV (or internet, but didn't expect that) and the restrooms are just vault toilets. The trail to the waterfall continues on past a cave and up to the top of the falls, worth the walk. We also did the squirrel trail. It's a 12 mile drive after you turn off the I-70 but worth it.

You go and choose your site then return to the office to check in. There are plenty to choose from. Sites where we were all had concrete pads, didn't see all of campground. There are two large swimming pools which looked lovely but they are only open Memorial Day to Labor Day. (No swimming in the lake.) There was a laundry by the pool but that was all closed up too. There is a good general store and a gas station. The only receipt I had was my credit card slip and I had to hand it back in when we left which I was not very happy about. Didn't use the showers but I see there is a charge of 50 cents per 3 minutes of hot water. Nearest town in Santa Ynez nine miles away.

Worth a 10 but the lack of cable TV was a minus. The previous reviewer said there are 60 channels on the antenna but only 10 were in English and not much to choose from. Beautiful large sites and everything immaculate. There is a small activity room where they served coffee and donuts on Saturday morning. It is gated, fenced, and very secure. Enjoyed the golf facility. Helpful and friendly staff. It's a good location for exploring San Diego area.

Very nice campground, well laid out although not much shade, sites are separated with rocks. Very good value with Passport America. Staff helpful, really nice individual bathrooms. Wifi works OK but does keep dropping and you have to disconnect and reconnect to get it to work again. The train whistles sometimes woke us up at night.

All sites are pull-thru and level so didn't have to unhitch for overnight stop. The indoor pool and hot tub were both very nice, as was the laundry. Restrooms are OK and there is a very good activity building with a TV room and pool tables etc. Wifi was adequate.

Level, clean and well kept. Helpful staff. I was in the activity room which adjoins the laundry and was invited to join in "Mexican Train," that's how friendly the place was. Only one bathroom for each gender but it's spacious and clean. The wifi was really good. GPS wanted to take us round a non-existent block to approach from the other direction, but you can just turn left into it, the highway isn't divided there, only when you exit, so look for big yellow sign at entrance.

Very nice small campground, helpful staff and convenient for the town of Roswell. Wifi was very good. Discount for paying in cash.

We had a pull-through site in the center row. Wi-Fi was too slow to be of much use. The indoor pool was drained and actively being worked on. This was in a good location for seeing the Caverns and convenient for the town too. The free DVD rental was a nice touch.

Quite a new park so trees still small, but sites are level and it is well kept with a nice atmosphere. Really good Wi-Fi. TV reception poor and very few channels. There is a small TV room with more channels, but still not many. They now employ helpful office staff from 3pm. I suggested to the owner that he make the bathrooms useable by either gender as there is only one for each, and he then told me there are two more bathrooms by the pool. I checked them out and they were excellent. Pool area looked nice, but not yet open. The halogen lighting is over the top, normal street lighting would be better.

A very nice state park. We had a back in water/electric site as the full hook up sites were all reserved. No cable TV at these sites, and nothing on the antenna. The cost was $20 plus $5 each person per day. We had a small restroom near us which was heated on cold mornings. The dump station was on the wrong side as we exited, had to drive round the loop behind the main bath house. Wi-Fi worked OK but we had to go every day to ask them to reboot it. The Sunday lunch buffet at Indian Lodge was excellent. The Fort in the town of Fort Davis is worth a visit, as is the McDonald Observatory; especially the star party.

Good location on the edge of Bandera which is a nice small town. We stayed three nights, two at PPA rate and one at full rate so have showed average, very good value. Restrooms and laundry are old but clean and adequate. There is also a nice activity room. Everyone was friendly, and it all seems to be well kept.WiFi worked well, you get an hour for each log in but you can just log in again when time is up.

We liked it here. The only thing to add to the other reviews is that the Wi-Fi was a bit weak and unreliable and the swimming pool is fabulous - large and a nice temperature. Staff were great, bus service great and San Antonio is a lovely city.

We stayed here three nights, and the rate includes approx $3 a day for metered electricity. We were near the pool and the excellent activity center, there is also a good club house with a very extensive library. The restrooms were OK but probably cleaned by volunteers who lack attention to detail. Sites were level and didn't get muddy when we had heavy rain. Wi-Fi only works in office area. Staff and other people here all very pleasant.

This is a very large campground, but it is a wonderful place. We had a huge level back-in site. If you don't have a reservation they put you on a list when you arrive and you have to wait until 3pm to check in, then it's mad chaos and too bad if you get in the wrong line. They give 15% discount for seniors, reflected in price shown. Generally the staff were pleasant and helpful. There are great trails (walk/bike) from the campground and the beach is close by. Also good for shopping in the area. The pool isn't open yet, but we swam in the ocean. The activity center and nature center have things going on every day.Would've given it 10 if not for chaotic check in.
