Brushy Lake Park, Sallisaw, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground close to Rt40. Lakeside sites are a little older but kept looking good. Only 30amp but that was fine with us. There was some talk about closing this park...so check with them first. We camped at Brushy Lake Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Falcon State Park, Falcon Heights, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

One of our favorite destinations in Texas. Nice private campsites with the most colorful and beautiful birds we've ever seen. Also there is a boat ramp and fishing from the shore is allowed without a TX license. One of the best bass fishing lakes in the U.S.The staff are amazing. We were there at Christmas and they invited us to a potluck dinner that was great. We camped at Falcon State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Kirkwood Resort & Marina, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

New manager rude and deceitful. Sites vary in price according to the manager's whims. Electricity goes from 90 volts to 100 volts. Sites are not kept up well, they are muddy and uneven, no fire rings and no picnic tables. Laundry is unavailable to campers between 7am and 4pm because the staff uses the one washer and dryer to clean the motel linen. We camped at Kirkwood Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.
