Stopped Sunday afternoon to watch the Masters. This is a great Park with easy access, full service hookups and paved sites. Good cable and WiFi. As you come off I-5 on the left there is a Safeway that has a Big gas bar and sells Diesel. Red Lobster and Denny's in same area. Big Rig friendly and added to our list of great sites.

This is a county park situated about 21 miles from Santa Barbara on Lake Cachuma. It is a very large area that has full service RV sites in addition to Dry and Large Group Camping. It is easily accessible off of Hwy 154 and Big Rig friendly. As with most county parks it is a little, "Rough around the edges." Many of the sites need some major pruning as low lying branches can damage your roof. The concrete pads are cracked and not level. My friend's power service had the polarity reversed. This is a very large area so you will always find a spot. The park is well run with excellent security. The roads are wide for big rigs but watch the trees!

This is a very popular park that is in a great location surrounded by 250 wineries. We stayed for Wine Festival and it was a great experience. Be sure to make a reservation and try and get a site on the lower level or you will get some freeway noise. It is one of the nicest parks we have stayed in.

This is a park we always visit to go to Phil's for a great seafood dinner and then to the Lighthouse for breakfast. All walkable from your site which is adequate but small. The park is a "KOA Express " so it doesn't have all the full park features. It is expensive and popular so I would recommend a reservation as your options in this area are limited. I only gave them a 7 because of the internet problem. Last year they limited you to two free hours but as the complaints increased you now get unlimited access for ONE computer. The second is $10 however we couldn't get it to work at all. They really need to get their internet problems sorted out. The Park has new managers who were helpful and pleasant. Over the years this park has maintained a high standard and we will always come back.

This is a great RV Park that is easily accessed from I-5 just outside of Redding. We have stayed here many years on our trip to Mesa and it is always a treat. Ask for site #26 which backs onto the river. Wi-Fi is free and lots of bandwidth. The sites are large, paved and all pull throughs with full service. I even discovered the pool while doing some laundry today. This is a very well run park that gets top evaluations each year. I hope it never changes!

We stopped here on our way down to Mesa. I am going to add this park to our regular list of sites. It has easy access from I-5 but is amazingly quiet from the freeway noise. As you enter the park there is a Shell with Diesel fuel and Wal-Mart is 5 minutes away. They have a gate from the Park that goes to the OutLet Stores and is a 5 minute walk. Full service park that is all paved and look well run. Free and fast Wi-Fi and all the sites are pull through so you don't have to unhitch. Doesn't get any better.

This is a great park that we have stayed at many times over the years. It is a bit expensive and the sites are tight if you have a big rig. Request site #39 as it is a straight back in and you can park you car next to the rig. We haven't stayed here for a couple of years and am glad to see it is still well run and has friendly staff. It's big advantage is the central location and access to Sky-Train. Wi-Fi is free for 2 hours then $5 for the day. Provided by Tengo it is fast and easily received at our site.

One of our favorite parks that has easy access off I-5 and is quiet with great facilities and level concrete pads. High speed wireless is included and works well. It is a popular park so would suggest reservations.

This park gets my rarely given out "10" evaluation for its location, service, and outstanding park facilities. We phoned ahead for a reservation but when we arrived the site was a little far from the laundromat so they gave us a free upgrade to a paved premium site next to the center. The park is new and well designed with very modern facilities. It is situated in the middle of hundreds of wineries and a coupon from the front desk gets you free tastings at 7 wineries down Union Road which is 5 minutes from your RV site. If you like to golf then Hunter Ranch Golf Club is 5 minutes away and has a spectacular practice fairway with a short 3 hole course to warm up with. All FREE !!! River Oaks Golf course is about 10 minutes away and is a 6 hole course that you play 3 time for your 18 holes. Since my wife is just learning the game this was a great course for her to practice. $18 for a days golf that included a cart. So with our free site upgrade, wine tasting, golf, and a spectacular RV park they get a "10". Oh, did I forget to mention high speed internet is included in you site fee?

This is a favorite park that we have stayed at many times. It is just off I-5 but quiet and well managed. It has free internet for the first 30 minutes, then $4.00/day but the connection is high speed. Make sure you phone ahead for a reservation because it is frequently full as snowbirds head home.

We always stay in Sam's Town when coming through Las Vegas. It is an old park that is popular and always full so a reservation is a must. I wish they would spend a bit of money and fix it up. The sewer traps are open which often leads to a bad smell and every other site is designated for a motorhome which means the services are on the wrong side for a 5th wheel. Being so popular I would think a face lift is in order.

We stayed one night on our way home and it was neat to have a site right on the water and watch the big boats roar by. There are sewer sites but they are on top and not down by the lake. It is close to London Bridge and centrally located. It is noisy with boat traffic but fun for a few nights. We didn't use any of the facilities. The staff seemed nice. The service roads are paved but the pads are sand/gravel.

We spend a lot of time in RV parks and rarely give a 10 rating, but this park has it all. The facilities are outstanding, and it is managed by great staff. The park is situated in the middle of 26,000 vineyard acres producing more than 40 different varieties of wine. Reservations are suggested as it is often full. They have a tour of 12 wineries off Union Road that provide free wine tasting. Since we arrived one week after the wine festival we were able to get all the specials without the crowds. It has easy access for big rigs with a variety of site options. I can hardly wait to come back to my favorite park.

This is called a KOA Express which has limited facilities but is in a great location. We come here every year to walk the beach and go to Phil's Restaurant which has live Bluegrass Music through the week. This is a busy park so would suggest a reservation. There are some great deals in the winter months such as getting the 3rd night free if you stay two nights. Give them a call rather than booking it on the KOA Web Site. Internet is irritating as they only allow one hour free access before having to pay. I discussed this with the manager who has had a difficult time getting a company to provide high speed. This will be a on going problem.

This is a great RV park that we always stay at on our way to Arizona. It has easy access off I-5 and is far enough away that you don't get any traffic noise. Big paved pull through sites with free WiFi. Friendly staff but it is busy so always a good idea to make a reservation.
