My husband and I and our 2 dogs stayed here for almost a week. The campground is within walking distance to the town of Sedona. Mature shade trees were present but we were able to get satellite reception. Roadways are loose gravel. Pet policy was not enforced next to us they had 5 dogs over the weekend. Three for the first few days and then another two. We appreciated the dog run was big and spacious for ours to run around and have some fun. Permanent trailers present and no fire rings at each site, just one main one. Concrete patio for many sites was nice and included a picnic table. The location for this campground was the highlight. There is no security or security gate, so there is easy access for anyone to drive or walk right in. There are ants around, so bring some spray. We had no problems with hookups. There is no privacy between campsites. We saw a huge skunk hanging around and walking beneath several campers. Happy Camping! C J (888) 641-4261

Wow! What a great campground! We loved it here. The lady at check in, had the patience of a saint! We pulled into our site and was unable to get satellite reception. She was able to provide another site for us and we changed our minds four times! We went to a premium pull through site. How convenient all the sites were. Small trees provided shade and the campground was very well illuminated at night. Everything was immaculate here. The pool was clean and warm with a hot tub. They even had a wine and cheese night which was a great way to meet other campers. Their store was plentiful with souvenirs or last minute grocery store items with a friendly hello from the front desk staff. They also have a grill on site that makes great egg sandwiches, closed just twice a week. Laundry is available on site and clean and easy to use. Bathrooms also spotless as well as the shower. The only down fall is the shower has a timer 5 minutes and you have to put another quarter in for extra minutes. Location ideal for Zion National Park. Great restaurant in town by the park is the Pioneer Restaurant, nothing fancy but good food. Again I can not recommend Zion River Resort high enough. Disney's Fort Wilderness should take notes. Happy Camping!

Our weekend getaway with our motor home was enjoyable. This campground has paved and dirt roads. We selected a site adjacent to the river with no hookups. There are tall mature trees throughout the campground. We utilized the pool and it was ok. We also utilized the driving range on site, which was nothing more than just an open field. We did enjoy putting our beach chairs in the river while reading our books. The river was clean and clear unlike many others that are muddy. Sites by the river can be out of level (take caution) and are a mix of grass and dirt. Happy Camping! C J

My husband and I enjoyed this campground for the peace and quiet. It was a pleasure to go to an adult only campground for a change, no screaming teenagers racing around on golf carts! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We liked the security gate at the entrance. Many campgrounds have easy access to anyone. We rented a kayak at the campground and went out into the tidal area which the campground is located beside. When arriving at the campground you drive through a residential area making you believe you are in the wrong spot, but just keep going Wild Duck is at the dead end. A clean park with seasonal campers located on opposite side but all were well manicured. It is located close to town and a short drive to Old Orchard Beach. We enjoyed this campground that we will be back.. Happy Camping! C J

I was disappointed by all the removal of the brush between campsites and the roadways. Shuttle service is available via Disney buses around the campground. I highly recommend bringing a golf cart. You could rent one at Fort Wilderness at a high price. If you have a trailer you can do what we did borrow one from a friend or rent it from your hometown and trailer it. Or if you do not want the trouble rent one. The showers were clean and had a small changing area before the shower area. I was disappointed with the pool area. I know now that the pool is being refurbished. Check in could be explained much better. We rented a scooter and had it dropped off to main desk with no problems. No problems with electric. Our dogs loved the dog run!!! The competes varied, like all campgrounds. Some were deep others were shallow and right on top of the road. Campground was clean. Of course we will visit again. Love Walt Disney world!
