Jugtown Mountain Campsites, Asbury, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

All previous comments were on target. We needed a place for the evening. Park in back of trailer sales company. Roads are in horrible shape. Person at desk told us to pick out any we wanted. Took 3 attempts to find one to use. Roads are very rutty and windy. Many old campers parked throughout the campground. Could not find a restroom. Water pressure was low and ware had a bad smell. We camped at Jugtown Mountain Campsites in a Motorhome.

Panther Lake Camping Resort, Andover, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Should have anticipated a problem when I did not get an email confirmation after 3 requests. Arrived after dark do to traffic issues. Park is not kept up very well. Narrow roads with trees not trimmed very well. Could not find site due to resident parking on site and lousy markings. The number is at back of site and is carved into wood post. Asked office for help. They stated they could not understand wife and hung up. Site had lot of trees that needed major trimming. Sites are very close together. The population is owners and some short term renters. Bathrooms are distant and only two dumpsters were present, which are very full. Campground is definitely showing its age. Did not see a wi fi availability. Cable was ok. Would not return. We camped at Panther Lake Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA , Pescadero, California

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Paved sites that were a bit narrow. View of ocean in the distance. Told on registering that water pressure was 50+psi and water was non potable. Cable and wi fi were good. No verizon service in area. Biggest issue was dogs are restriced to campground area and not most of trails.
Lot of grass and maintained very well. Store and resturant were price. Only 3 washing machines for 190 sites. We camped at Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA in a Motorhome.

Paso Robles RV Ranch, Paso Robles, California

Overall Rating:

Agree with previous reviews regarding full timers keeping it very tidy and clean. HAD TO TAKE DOG TO VET AND MANY CAMPERS CHECKED ON HER STATUS. Restrooms were spaciuos and clean. Site was large with lot of grass. Lot of room was walking the dogs. Near wineries and town. Highly recommend. We camped at Paso Robles RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Park was very nice. Nice big sites with concrete pads and easy hook-ups. Office staff very friendly and helpful. External and internal pool and hot tub was a very nice addition. Beach was nice and very easy to access. Not very crowded during Mid- October. Like it better that the KOA down the street. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Motorhome.

Small Country Campground, Louisa, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

I found the "super sites" not worth the cost. The only difference is 50 amp service versus 30 amp. They were on the top of a hill and were totally gravel/stone/crushed rock. Not a blade of grass on these sites. Some sites were hard to access. Most will require you to back up to get out since you can be blocked by the coach in front of you. Also, bathroom by the lake did not have soap or towels. Campground has great internet service on top of hill. I am not sure of access down in the trees. They have good camp facilities for family camping. Access roads are a bit narrow with trees overhanging roads. We camped at Small Country Campground in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here twice before and will come back again. Have always found it to be a super location. Owners are very conscious about the grounds and the upkeep. Rest rooms are clean and maintained. RV site are roomy and spaced so they are staggered and not looking directly into next one over. We camped at Luray KOA (formerly Luray RV Resort Country Waye) in a Motorhome.

Camped over the long Labor day weekend. Management accommodated a error in reservations and moved another RV to accommodate our (2) class A's being together. Campground is very clean and sites are spacious. We had very good satellite reception. Views are spectacular nestled between mountains. Sites were gravel and fairly level. We camped at Luray KOA (formerly Luray RV Resort Country Waye) in a Motorhome.

North Landing Beach Riverfront Campground and Resort, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Camped with a group. They did not put the group together despite have the spots reserved in group's name. Men's bathroom soap dispenser's were not refilled all weekend even though staff were seen servicing restroom multiple times. Charged for rental of pavilion. Spliced electric lines were prevalent throughout the campground to sewer pumps. Some sites had sewer odor from pump location. We camped at North Landing Beach Riverfront Campground and Resort in a Motorhome.

A lot of great amenities. Sites are great. Bath facilities are clean and close by all areas of the campground. They have a great Dog park that has 2 gated areas where can can be off leash. They also provide a free parking lot 2 blocks from the Beach. We would definitely return. (866) 849-8860 We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Motorhome.
