Lakeview Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very close. Owners not very friendly at times. Owner's son lives on the property and on more than one occasion we had to listen to him yelling out cuss words. Owner makes promises that he doesn't keep. We will not stay here again. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Kamp Komfort RV Park & Campground, Carlock, Illinois

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park was OK and we would use it as a one night, passing through, type of campground. We found the owners to be short with us when we arrived. The layout was fine. We camped at Kamp Komfort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

RV Park Strafford, Strafford, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park reminded me of a parking lot with hookups. The owner is very nice, however he misrepresented this park by calling it quiet. There is a truck stop nearby and trains pass by next to the campground. We won't camp here again. We camped at RV Park Strafford in a Fifth Wheel.

Christian's Campground, Pelican Lake, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Another great stay at this remote campground. We stayed 3 months and enjoyed every minute. Campers are free to keep boats and ATVs at their campsite at no extra charge. The owners are fantastic people that will do whatever is necessary to make your stay right. This is our summer campground. We camped at Christian's Campground in a Motorhome.

Music City Campground, La Vergne, Tennessee

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was clean but had many old and rundown RVs that seems to be here for a while. Most are long term residence, most of them are in small travel trailers. No problems here but folks aren't very friendly. It is the only campground in the local area. We camped here to be close to family in the area. This is just a place to park your RV, no activities in the campground. We camped at Music City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground 70, Charleroi, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is great for traveling workers but not for a family stay. Very reasonable weekly and monthly rates. Campground is cut into the side of a hill and sites are narrow. Owners are nice folks. We stayed for 2 weeks because our options were limited for staying the area. We camped at Campground 70 in a Fifth Wheel.

Sturgeon Valley Campground (formerly Sturgeon River Campground), Wolverine, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and well groomed campground with a nice family feel. We stayed only one night while traveling but would come back if ever in this area. The only negatives are the mile and a half rough dirt road leading to the campground, and the staff not on site when they said they would be when we called. Neither was a huge problem. We camped at Sturgeon Valley Campground (formerly Sturgeon River Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Christian's Campground, Pelican Lake, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We camped at Christian's Campground in Pelican Lake, Wisconsin on a monthly basis with a very reasonable rate. We found the campground to be very quiet. Mostly seasonal campers with some weekend campers. During the week we were basically alone in the campground. The sites are big enough that we were able to put our 38 foot fifth wheel in sideways, with a lot of space on both sides, so our door faced the woods. All sites have full hookups with 50 Amp service. There is a pavilion, playground, and sand volleyball court available. All campers are allowed to store boats, ATVs, etc, on their sites at no extra charge. Pelican Lake is within a mile drive and an ATV trail comes right to the campground. The campground has a few piers on the lake for your boat and fishing use. We will be back next year. We camped at Christian's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Campground had a weekly rate that with our Good Sam discount was $255. When we made our reservations, we were told that they had a site large enough for our big rig. The site we were given was not accommodating to our 38 foot 4 slide fifth wheel. It was a back in site that was long enough but was so narrow that we could not back all of the way in or we would not have been able to open one of our slide outs. Because we had to pull up a little we had a tree that blocked us being able to open our awning. The concrete picnic table and benches were not comfortable to sit on or use. The next RV was 10 feet away so there was no real area to sit outside. There is a big camp store, and the staff was very friendly. We probably will not use this campground again, when visiting the area, unless we are forced to. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Take it Easy Campground, Callaway, Maryland

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Big Park with mostly traveling workers. This is a great place to put your RV on a monthly basis. Great monthly rates. No store or recreation room. They fill propane tanks and have a decent laundry. Also an average children's play ground. We camped at Take it Easy Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
