There was significant road noise during the day from our site (#81). However, at night it was quiet. There is an abundance of amenities at this park including play areas, hiking trails (paved), paddle boats, vending machine, a restaurant and geocaches!

The rate reflects the Passport price. This park was a wonderful surprise. We were looking for a nice overnight spot. The entire park was clean, well maintained and the grass sites were very spacious. The bathrooms were sparkling clean and two looked brand new. The staff were very welcoming and checked with us several times to make sure we settled in comfortably. We would definitely return.

We were on site #84 and it was very sandy with gravel drive through. The significant slope required us to use additional mats for leveling. We had excellent shade with well trimmed trees yet we were able to get satellite TV from our unit. There was excellent WiFi, power, water, fire rings, and sewer connections. However, the site was very tight with the unit next to us less than 5 feet away. We will return to this park.

We were here during their summer Halloween party and the children were having so much fun. We were told that it would be a very busy evening but it was quiet before 10 PM. We enjoyed walking on the trails and picking blueberries and blackberries. Our site (#34) was very large and well shaded by mature pine trees. We had no trouble leveling. The bathrooms were very clean and the pool looked nice. We had 30 AMP and water. It was an easy drive into the site and there was only one small pine branch that was a little low. We would camp here again.

Our site (#66) was a pull through and had enough room for our slides and the pine trees which provided nice shade. The showers and restrooms were very clean and the showers were spacious. No cable TV but there was one broadcast channel. Some of the site were less shady and had satellite reception or used a portable receptor. WiFi worked most of the time. The pool was open but the hot tub was being repaired. The overall feel of the campground was very welcoming. We would return to this campground.

We had full hookups. There was nice spacing on the sites and the utilities worked find for us except the wifi. It faded in and out constantly and was of little value. Our site had a nice view of the lake.

This park is an easy access from Wray. It is a very clean and well maintained RV park. There are some long term residents. The showers are pay. The current owners have sold the park and we were told that the new owners intend to continue operations. There is some road and train noise, but a fan muffled it for us.

This town was devastated by a tornado spring of 2014 and has come back amazingly. The campground now has 50 amp service but the pool and tennis court are currently closed. We did not use the restrooms but they are functional and were cleaned the morning we were there. The grounds and each site are on well maintained grass. Even though there was a lot of rain during the night, the sites were high enough to stay dry. We would recommend staying here as a great overnight spot. Payments are by donation - they need it.

The rate reflects a senior discount. We really liked this campground. We were not on the water but had a very comfortable, shady, and level spot near the restrooms. The hosts checked on us regularly and even with the campground mostly filled, it was very quiet. The restrooms and showers were spotless. We will be back to this campground.

The first site we were put in had trees and bushes that rubbed up against the motor home without the slides extended and we would not have been able to use our awning. We asked for a second site. Both sites were VERY uneven and we were not able to level. The cable connections were shared requiring us to use 40 feet of cable. The internet quit working on the second day. The showers and restrooms were clean but old. The managers were not quick in responding to emails in setting up our reservation (they responded to our friends questions 1 day after our friends left). There is quite a bit of noise from the freeway. Finally, we stepped in dog poop just as we were leaving our site. We will NOT stay here again.

We had a wonderful 12 day stay at Cherry Hill Park. The staff were fantastic and very helpful - especially with planning our visits to Washington DC attractions. Their service was the best we have ever had. Our rate reflects a military discount. Our RV site was roomier than we expected with a gravel pad, picnic area (other sites had brick picnic areas) and well cared for grass. We enjoyed having several campfires using their very reasonably priced campfire wood which they delivered to our site. The facilities were immaculate and we especially enjoyed the spa and pool. The restrooms were sparkly clean and the showers were very roomy. We found the store to be well stocked and with a better variety than most parks. We were disappointed with the noise from the highway, but that was not unexpected (this is what resulted in a lower rating). We will return but ask for a site with more protection from the noise although it did eventually become "background noise". Finally, the proximity to Washington DC and the many different modes of transportation available right at the park to go sightseeing make Cherry Hill the perfect place to stay when in the area. We highly recommend this park.

Our rate reflects 5 days at Passport America rates and 2 days with a military discount. This park was quiet and very comfortable. The owners were exceptionally friendly and said hello daily. The pool was heated, but still cool and there are many pieces of outdoor playground equipment for children. The campground was central to many of the wineries and close to several state parks that we toured. We will return to this campground.

This is a nicely landscaped campground (split between areas across the street from each other) but it really needs upgrading. The manager was friendly, helpful and shared from his garden! We received coupons for the local casino for a 2 for 1 dinner and free casino play. The bathrooms were dated but OK. Even though the campground really needs work, the manager makes it a great place to stop. We would consider returning.

This is a gem of a campground. It is peaceful and quiet. The restrooms and showers were very clean. The showers were quite large however one shower was not working in the women's restroom. There were deer, turkeys and many birds around. The pool was still open although not heated. There is Wi-Fi available in the laundry room and it worked great. We will return when we are in the area.

This is an average park. Internet and cable worked great but the hot tub was not working. We had deer walk through the site next to us and we could hear the sea lions. It was easy in and out. It was a bit of a walk down the road to get to the state park trails. We would camp here again.
