Our site was grass and mud for 90% of the time we were here. Stepping out of the rig, you had to step into water. Disregarding Florida state law in regard to sewer connections, our neighbors and others were not off the ground and often underwater. To say that the interior roads in this park are narrow is an understatement and the sites themselves are even worse. They are extremely close together and to the road. There is very little room for driving down the road. Several rigs, as they were leaving, came within Inches of ours. Every time someone arrived or left, several passenger vehicles around that site had to be moved. We stayed here for a month in January 2016 We will never stay here again.

Date of Stay:

We have stayed here many times in the past and knew the streets were narrow, however our site usually was more that satisfactory. This time was very different. We were stuck back in a corner spot with a park model under construction less that 10 feet away and highway traffic no more that 25 feet away. The entrance to our site was barely wider than our motor home. We asked for a different site and were told that nothing was available. This park has basically eliminated most of the RV sites in favor of new park models. It is no longer RV friendly. We also are trying to get rid of an infestation of fire ants. We will never return to this park.

Date of Stay:

This campground was overpriced for the amenities. The interior roads are adequate but nothing more. The permanent residents seriously detract from the quality of the campground. The pull-through sites are very narrow but long enough. There is a lot of noise from the nearby interstate. We will return only if there are no other options.

We were hoping to use to pool but the "shallow pool" had a lot of leaf debris and the regular pool was very cloudy and did not look clean. We waited for over an hour at the office for someone to show up. The sign on the door said to go to the house, but no one was there either. The sewer connection at our site (220) would not accept a standard fitting for a sewer connection. We will not return.

Date of Stay:

There was significant road noise during the day from our site (#81). However, at night it was quiet. There is an abundance of amenities at this park including play areas, hiking trails (paved), paddle boats, vending machine, a restaurant and geocaches!

The rate reflects the Passport price. This park was a wonderful surprise. We were looking for a nice overnight spot. The entire park was clean, well maintained and the grass sites were very spacious. The bathrooms were sparkling clean and two looked brand new. The staff were very welcoming and checked with us several times to make sure we settled in comfortably. We would definitely return.

Date of Stay:

We were on site #84 and it was very sandy with gravel drive through. The significant slope required us to use additional mats for leveling. We had excellent shade with well trimmed trees yet we were able to get satellite TV from our unit. There was excellent WiFi, power, water, fire rings, and sewer connections. However, the site was very tight with the unit next to us less than 5 feet away. We will return to this park.

We were here during their summer Halloween party and the children were having so much fun. We were told that it would be a very busy evening but it was quiet before 10 PM. We enjoyed walking on the trails and picking blueberries and blackberries. Our site (#34) was very large and well shaded by mature pine trees. We had no trouble leveling. The bathrooms were very clean and the pool looked nice. We had 30 AMP and water. It was an easy drive into the site and there was only one small pine branch that was a little low. We would camp here again.

Our site (#66) was a pull through and had enough room for our slides and the pine trees which provided nice shade. The showers and restrooms were very clean and the showers were spacious. No cable TV but there was one broadcast channel. Some of the site were less shady and had satellite reception or used a portable receptor. WiFi worked most of the time. The pool was open but the hot tub was being repaired. The overall feel of the campground was very welcoming. We would return to this campground.

This is an adequate overnight stay. Price reflects the Passport America rate and US rather than Canadian dollars. We had site #1 so we were facing the highway and there was a lot of noise. It also seems that this site is well used by dogs. The showers in the unisex restrooms were moldy so we chose not to use them. 15 amp service was sufficient for our use but we monitored carefully. We were able to get satellite TV in our site. Internet was free for 24 hours and worked. However, it was slow in the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Price reflects Good Sam discount. We did not make reservations so the only sites left were 15 amp. The men's restroom was clean but the women's showers were barely clean with dead bugs, hair, sand and spiderwebs.. The water in both had a sulfur smell. It looks likes attempts are being made to improve the bathrooms. The 15 amp lots were more spaced out compared to the others. However, there was significant noise from the highway - we were in site #33 and our bedroom faced the highway. There was no television reception (broadcast or satellite). The WiFi was strong but slow. The entrance is well marked with only a single entrance. We will return only if there are no other options.

We had full hookups. There was nice spacing on the sites and the utilities worked find for us except the wifi. It faded in and out constantly and was of little value. Our site had a nice view of the lake.

This park is an easy access from Wray. It is a very clean and well maintained RV park. There are some long term residents. The showers are pay. The current owners have sold the park and we were told that the new owners intend to continue operations. There is some road and train noise, but a fan muffled it for us.

This town was devastated by a tornado spring of 2014 and has come back amazingly. The campground now has 50 amp service but the pool and tennis court are currently closed. We did not use the restrooms but they are functional and were cleaned the morning we were there. The grounds and each site are on well maintained grass. Even though there was a lot of rain during the night, the sites were high enough to stay dry. We would recommend staying here as a great overnight spot. Payments are by donation - they need it.

The rate reflects a senior discount. We really liked this campground. We were not on the water but had a very comfortable, shady, and level spot near the restrooms. The hosts checked on us regularly and even with the campground mostly filled, it was very quiet. The restrooms and showers were spotless. We will be back to this campground.
