Hollywood Casino RV Park, Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

park office closed, had to call , and tell what slip we were in . tried calling over two days 8 time. always could not get through 8 or more calls waiting in front of ours. site had grill and picnic table both in dire need of cleaning major mildew. sewer cover was broken as was the water access cover . wife fell ( did not hurt herself ) on water access with missing cover very dangerous . power was marginal.114volts and less with load. additionally the wifi did not work at all during our stay even after reporting the malfunction we have been there many times before and all conditions have been better . has gone down hill . useable but barely. maybe they will improve. We camped at Hollywood Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paul B. Johnson State Park, Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This has always been a wonderful park, but not this time. We stayed in the new campgrounds. Power problems. 50 amp had one leg almost unusable . If we put a minor load on power would from 120 to 109 volts. We cut our stay short for fear of burning up electric motors. if they get the power right it would be a great place. most campers don't have meters to give them electric information . We were in a motor home . We had a similar problem when we stayed there 7 weeks earlier, made 5 phone calls with hope they would repair --- but no luck. We camped at Paul B. Johnson State Park in a Motorhome.

Blue Heron RV Resort, Guntersville, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

The folks at the park were helpful. This is a new park and will someday be top notch. The internet did not work where we were, they need more repeater towers. Other than that it was a repeat. We camped at Blue Heron RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV Park, Livingston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The park has some bad rules. We invited wife's mother and father to have diner with us, which is why we chose the park. We were then informed that we would have to pay $3.00 each for them to visit us. I understand the general reason for the rule, to keep people from bringing in ten people. Like the family next to us they snuck them in, but it was foolish not friendly regarding honest guests. Rather than eat at the park we took them out to diner. Additionally the wi-fi did not work which negated the computer work I wanted to do.Will not go again. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.
