Prairie Flower Recreation Area COE, Johnston, Iowa

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Great park, nice wide roads, large concrete pads and they are angled for easy access. Staff was friendly and helpful, gave us a lot with great view of the lake. We stayed overnight in a travel trailer and will camp here again when in the area. We camped at Prairie Flower Recreation Area COE in a Travel Trailer.

Hare Creek Campground, Corry, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2004 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second visit to Hare Creek. The campground has new owners and they are a delight. We camped with a group and the owners went way out of their way to help everyone get in and set up. The grounds are nice and flat, a few trees that are easy to navigate around. Facilities are well maintained. We were welcome to use the pavilion for our group activites. We camped in a travel trailer, others in the group had big rigs. We look forward to staying at Hare Creek again. We camped at Hare Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2003 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The facilities at this park are fine, but the people running it made our stay miserable. This park caters to permanent residents. Empty sites are available to transients. Consequently there are two sets of facilities and managers. Some of the advertised facilities were off limits unless you were permanent. I was hastled by the permanent manager several times while there. I like to walk and he stopped me three times, questioning why I was in the park. The folks in the rental office could not even direct me to propane. I will never return to this park. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Travel Trailer.
