Overall a great park. We needed an overnight stay location while traveling on I-5 and this is a great spot. Good fuel and food options close by. Park is paved with concrete pads. A bit weedy in most sites, but a nice facility. My only gripe was the false advertising. When we called to reserve, they said the internet was free but not all that great. Said the same thing when we checked in. But that was an out and out lie.....the internet was great! The park was crowded while we were there with a pack of Good Sammers and still the wifi had good response time. Not sure about watching videos on it, but overall web browsing was superb.

This is a nice park with OK facilities and certainly good for an overnight stay. The Wi-Fi is Tengonet and while you can get a free coupon, getting the staff to part with enough for your devices isn't going to happen. In fact there is a big sign in the lobby says "Limit of 2 per rig. Do not ask for more!" Not really good customer service. So I would not say they have free internet. It is free, but far from unlimited. And the more you use, the slower it goes. Also the staff person we checked in with was very grumpy and abrupt. Not at all a pleasant experience. This park could be rated a lot higher if they made customer service a priority. There are other options not too far away and we may consider them just because of grumpy. After a long day's drive, we really don't need that kind of "welcome" if you can call it that.

Overall, this is a great place to stay! We really enjoyed our stay here. The sites are not huge, but plenty large enough. The park is located adjacent to the beach and within an easy walk to downtown Pismo. The park has many amenities (pool, clubhouse, store, etc.). The staff is friendly and actually cares about what goes on in the park. If you want to have a wild drunken loud and obnoxious party, you do not want to come here. The 24 hr security cares about guest satisfaction, which explains why most love this park and a few hate it. The WiFi works well and they have great cable TV including local channels in HD. We have been here often and will definitely come again.

This is a nice park with a great location run by caring and friendly people. Our rate varied as some nights were on Passport America. We were here for 4 nights. The sites are grass with great hookups. Watch the water pressure and make sure you use a regulator as the bib pressure is about 85psi. Once you set it, it is great! And appears not to be affected by the number of other sites occupied. The location is very near the city center and you can easily walk to Main street in town. You are central to many activities from here. The management is superb. While we were out one day, they called to tell us that a strong wind had come up and they noticed that our awning was out. That is great customer service! Internet here is Tengo and while it is free, it is not always 100%. Most of the time it was solid, but then seemed to become intermittent for a while. We heard they are thinking of changing to their own system and hopefully when they do, it will be better. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a small park run by friendly people. They were extremely accommodating as we tried to find a level site with 50amp. Most of the sites are not level, but a few blocks fixed that. All sites are grass and if you use small blocks, they can sink into the grass. The WiFi was not the greatest, but it worked most of the time. The water pressure was pathetic. With the park about 25% full, we were down to barely 30psi which didn't begin to cut it. As a result, we shortened our stay by a day and moved on. I wouldn't mind staying there again (we had the Passport America rate) as the cost was very reasonable, but only if they get the water pressure fixed.

We have stayed here before and our only gripe is the poor WiFi. You get a free hour which doesn't even begin to meet minimal needs. Also the signal is not all that consistent. I know, some folks try to download movies and the like and eat up bandwidth, but there are fixes for that (try packet shaping). Overall the park is very nice and well maintained. The speed limit of 8.5 mph tells you a lot about the management though. Yes, we will stay here again, but only for a night or two.

Overall this campground is OK. Not great, not bad. The sites and roads are all gravel which is OK except that in heavy rain, they get some rather large puddles. The hookups are fine and easy to work with and well located. The staff at registration is great. They sell propane for $2.55/gal which is a decent price. The WiFi is terrible. The signal is strong, but the response to any web request is terribly slow most of the time. Even in the mornings when you would expect usage to be low, it is very slow. I often switched to my phone's mifi to get a decent signal. The water pressure is quite low and that can make for some weak showers and other slow faucets. Also, as we were exiting, another rig was trying to turn in from a major state highway to come in the wrong way through the exit. He held up quite a bit of traffic until he realized that he was going the wrong way. Much better signage from the road is needed. Would we come back? Probably if we were going to activities in the local area. We got the Passport America half-price rate of $17/night which is a good rate. Sadly, given the poor water pressure and bad Wifi, it wasn't as good a deal as it should have been.

This is a great RV park. The sites are a bit close, but the location, facility, and staff are superb. My only concern was that on many of the sites, the campfire ring is too close to the adjacent site, and if someone were to create a large blaze (like with fire starter) they could damage the adjacent unit. Moving them 2 feet further away would solve it. (See 160-161) We are definitely coming back!

Overall this is a nice park. Two glaring problems keep it from a much better rating. First, the water pressure is low. It was marginally acceptable at best. Secondly, and more importantly, the internet was not acceptable. We saw previous reviews with that as a concern and mentioned the concern when we checked in. The staff person indicated that they had made a major upgrade to it within the last week. We did find that the signal was very strong. So if that is what was upgraded, it worked. However even with a strong signal, either the router or the connection from the park to the provider was poor. Many web requests were slow to respond - 5 or more seconds and in the evenings, about half of the requests timed out. The same web sites responded quickly when using mifi on our 4g Verizon phones. Hopefully, the park can fix this problem. We would really consider staying here again if we see reviews indicating that the internet issue has been resolved.

We stayed in an upgraded site, so had to pay extra. We needed the outside refrigerator because the Norcold in our rig died earlier in the trip. So we stored our food outside until we replaced the Norcold with a residential unit using Apache RV. (Across the street and up 1 block). The staff was really helpful in finding the only site in the park with the full size refrig outside. We love this park. It is very pricey, but you get what you pay for, and this park is it. We too wish we could afford a spot here. We visited 2 years ago and the internet was great then. Not so good now. They switched to Tengo internet service, and we had real problems getting and staying connected. The tech's answer was to take our computers outside under the antenna! NOT! Also, there was a planned water outage that they put signs up on the doors of the pools and clubhouse, but if you didn't happen to go to one of those, you didn't know it was going to happen. We got caught in that, and I let the staff know that this was not good notification. They had to turn it off again the next day and we got a phone call telling us. Much better! But I am surprised they could not have figured that out on their own.

This is a nice park with paved sites and reasonable space between sites. They have a nice pool and are adjacent to the casino for food and entertainment. The Wi-Fi signal is strong and reliable. Staff is OK too. We will definitely stay here again!

This park is marginally OK. It is away from the freeway by about 1/2 mile so it is relatively quiet. The sites are all gravel but the gravel is in good condition. Some sites are very close to each other while others have a bit of grass between them. There are a lot of trees, so if you want satellite, careful positioning of your dish is critical. The hookups are good and the water pressure is high, so bring a regulator. The Wi-Fi appears to work ok. When we arrived, we were the second RV in line and the office was closed with a sign saying that they were "working in the park." The owner of the first RV had called the office and they answered from wherever and said they would be back to the office in 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, a 15 year old came to process the registrations. We wasted time sitting in their driveway waiting for customer service. We understand that they need to work in the park but then why not post a list of names and reserved sites so that we could just go to our site? Other parks do this. When we suggested this to the clerk, it fell on deaf ears. Also the trees in this park are badly in need of trimming. As we drove to and into our site, several branches scraped either the roof or side. A 40 foot rig would have done even worse.

This is mostly a nice park, and the folks running it are very friendly. Sites are spacious, and though made of gravel, there is a lot of it, and it is in good condition. Good spacing between sites, too. On the down side, the water pressure was anemic!! The staff is aware of the problem but nothing is done about it. Interestingly enough, one neighbor had excessive pressure, and when he flushed the toilet, water jetted out into the room. Also the internet was very spotty and not reliable. We would probably stay here again but would try to get a site with better water pressure if there are any.

We stayed here for 7 nights including the 4th of July. Overall the park is alright. Most sites are fairly spacious and gravel. Hookups are in good condition and work well. Because of the gravel, there is some dust. Internet Wi-Fi worked OK, but did fade out at times. They did have a water problem and we were without park water for about 6 hours one night. When water came back on it was very cloudy. Also, they only have one trash dumpster and it was often overflowing. After seeing some of the parks in town, we would stay here again. They do rent ATVs and carts at this campground, which is a nice plus.

This is a small park behind Jack's Campers. You actually enter through Jack's and the park is up behind the lot. It is quiet and the roads are well covered in gravel. We stayed here 4 nights. The hookups are great. The Wi-Fi works well. The closer you are to the cabin at the entrance, the better the signal is. They do use some sites to "store" units after working on them. For some reason, they seem to take the closest spots to the Wi-Fi for that, which isn't smart. I mentioned that to the manager so you can see if it changes. For price and features, we would certainly stay here again.
