Great park and a very good value. Many sites are right next to the river. Would definitely stay here again. Stayed here in a 5th wheel. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Margie's Riverside RV Park, Riverside, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here in the past but found the park much more run down and now almost filled with permanent residents. We arrived just after noon and as happened to us once before no one was there. Confusion on what sites actually are, no help at all. Finally backed into a site and found electricity to be very poor and unreliable. Since it was 100 degrees outside we were not willing to put up with marginal electricity. We hooked up and departed. Will cross this park off our list. BTW, 30 miles up the road we found River Oaks RV in Oroville, a much superior park. Stayed here in a 5th wheel. We camped at Margie's Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yakima River RV Park, Ellensburg, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Having seen some of the negative reviews, we approached with trepidation. No need for trepidation, this is a great CG. Greeted immediately by host, coached where to go and what to do. Yes sites are close but we have seen much worse. CG is quiet, pretty, comfortable and most enjoyable. Value is excellent. Definitely would stay here again. We camped here in a large 5th wheel. We camped at Yakima River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Vineyard RV Park, Vacaville, California

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Check in was very boggled up, front desk was no help - seemed like we were bothering them. Sites are very close together. Sites are gravel. We paid $41 per night on a group rate, place is not worth that much and on regular rate you will pay more. I must say for a meeting it is good with getting all units together and wonderful meeting room. Sewer is at back of site and requires sewer hose extension. Would not stay here if I were not with a group. We camped at Vineyard RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fairmont RV Park, Anaconda, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Don't believe the pictures. Grass is either dead or burned out, no trees, no ambiance. Sites are gravel and very uneven. Staff is slow, uncaring, and without personality. Check in is painfully slow. Our site had no water, they told us it leaked so rather than fix we had to pull water from another site about 70' away. Sewer is way in back, had to add sewer hose extension. Very expensive place with little redeeming value. Oh yes, internet is extremely slow, unusable most of the time. We camped at Fairmont RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hidden Lake RV Park, Ardmore, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here in December after some ugly winter weather. They totally did nothing to sand or plow, making roads and sites super slippery. Kind of frustrating. And yet, a way cool place with super friendly staff. Good sites, most with a view of their little lake, good cable, good power, long level sites, and good dog walking. Some minor traffic noise from I-35. Definitely would stay here again. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

West Texas Friendly RV Park, Big Spring, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This place is the pits! Extremely over priced by a long shot. Mostly pipe workers staying here (not the real problem - but maybe why they way over charge). The place is hard to find, hard to get to, and 8 difficult miles (not an easy 6 miles as they advertise) to get here. Sticky, icky, mud you can't get off your shoes or boots, sites are not level, the 50 amps is not 50 amps (we had to turn off our small electric heater to use the hair dryer). There is a lot of construction/drilling work going on around here and these people are milking that by charging a totally inappropriate price for a junky place. Stay away! We camped at West Texas Friendly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bosque Birdwatchers RV Park, San Antonio, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $24.00

Pure Plane Jane, but nice setting. Friendly and helpful owner. Good power and water pressure. Close to Bosque del Apache wildlife preserve: an awesome place! Very quiet except for very occasional train, no problem for us. Definitely stay here again. We camped at Bosque Birdwatchers RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

White's City RV Park, Whites City, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Location, location, location. Super close to Carlsbad Caverns, only CG within even 20 miles of the Caverns. It is 7 miles up the road. Outside of location, it is a pretty funky, crummy CG. People do not pick up after dogs, and apparently this is OK. Sites are very close to each other, we had no one on either side so it was not an issue, but were someone next to us I believe our slide would virtually touch. I suspect it usually is not full nor busy, so you might also get an empty space next to you. Bottom line, don't expect much, stay for the convenience of location. If we went to the Caverns again, I would stay here. We camped at White's City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bonito Hollow RV Park & Campground, Alto, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects non pull through, 30 amp, no sewer. Park is under new (maybe 1 year) ownership. Owner seems a little confused. Park needs some upgrades. Our power was virtually non existent (couldn't even run a ceiling fan), water did not work for two days. Tons of tent camping meaning little munchkins everywhere. And noisy: loud, very loud Mexican music at 7:30a (of course office doesn't open until 9 am). Location is very pretty and pleasant but unless you want tons of kids romping around, you should think twice. Work campers did a good job and really seemed to care, but word is that at least some have left. We camped at Bonito Hollow RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Enchanted Moon RV Park, Taos, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park is out of Taos, actually Valle Escondito, half way between Taos and Angel Fire. Setting is beautiful, park is not. Very run down and does not live up at all to add on web page. No trout in "Trout" pond, no pads, Wi-Fi very marginal, only 5 or 6 pull throughs, patio tables falling apart - mostly unusable - and most sites are not with BBQ. Have not seen any horse coral either. Sites and road are mostly dirt, sites are quite unlevel. Some noise from Hwy 64 right in front but actually not bothersome. Reservation system is virtually non existent. Manager is nice but confused on what sites are available. Place is very much in need of maintenance and a lot of TLC. For what you get, it is overpriced. There is a large field where you can run dogs off leash. I might stay here again if maintenance and upgrading were done, otherwise no. We camped at Enchanted Moon RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Las Vegas, New Mexico KOA, Las Vegas, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Convenient, yes. Owners friendly and helpful, yes. But park is pretty rustic, all dirt and dusty. 50 amp sites are the least desirable sites. Pretty basic park for much more than basic price. We paid $45, with tax, and with AAA discount. Way too much for this park. Will not stay here again unless price were to be drastically reduced. We camped at Las Vegas, New Mexico KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Korte's Checkers Welcome Campground, Welcome, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects C to C "Good Neighbor" rate. A very nice little park. Friendly and helpful owners who guided us into the site, clean and well kept. Far enough off the hiway to avoid most hiway noise, some noise from the street/hiway it is on, but never bothered us. The town of Welcome is well worth a drive through. Lots of area to walk a dog. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Korte's Checkers Welcome Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Shore Resort, Oacoma, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

One qualifier. We saw some pretty scuddy camp sites: dirt/uneven/no view. So as long as you get one like we had, right on the river, with a magnificent view (we had a great site #5), this is one great park. Wonderful managers, nice folks around us, clean, grass (well kept)asphalt pad, fire pit. Just a nice stay. Definitely would go back. We camped at Cedar Shore Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Cutty's Des Moines Camping Club, Inc, Grimes, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Big Rig access is checked, I won't dispute this but sure doubt it. We were super tight with our 35' fifth wheel. Check in is extremely slow and inefficient. Spaces are very tight and very close and virtually, or literally, no place to park tow truck or toad. Two out of 3 laundries do not work (one has no appliances). The sites are unlevel, picnic tables if you happen to get one, are old and dilapidated. Just a tough spot for rigs over 30'. We camped here as a Coast to Coast guest (hence the $10 rate). On the positive side the water and electric are good (although you may need an extension cord to reach the electric). For $10 I might stay here again but doubt it. We camped at Cutty's Des Moines Camping Club, Inc in a Fifth Wheel.
