Date of Stay:
July, 2005 -
We made reservations by calling just a few days in advance and were fortunate enough to get a site (beginning July 4). We wound up staying 9 nights -- while we waited for parts and had warranty service work done on our fiver. The people in the office were extremely friendly and helpful. We ended up playing "musical sites" because we kept going back to the office to add a couple of more nights each time we'd talk to the service manager about the status of our axles. Each time, the park staff found an empty site that was suitable. We were so glad we had a comfortable place to stay! The office personnell frequently asked us how things were going. One evening, when walking back to our site from the pool, a staffer picked my son up and gave him a ride because he was carrying his shoes. He was thrilled! The pool was wonderful -- very warm! The biggest negative I can think of is the wifi, while free, is spotty. Not all parts of the park get a decent connection. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
