We loved this little place and will definitely go back. The sites were huge and shaded by beautiful oak trees. We had two side-by-side sites and had more than enough room between us to put up a tent for another family. The bathrooms were clean and the camp hosts were awesome - they run a tight ship and it shows.

This place is great for families. It's got tennis courts, an awesome covered pool, golf, a general store and events like 2 PM root beer floats for $1. It's only a few minutes from downtown Julian where they have cute little stores and places to buy the best apple pie on the planet. We went to KQ to take advantage of the free weekend, did attend the sales meeting but did not buy. We do not have children, which I think is the best way to get your moneys worth at a resort like this. Our specific site was level enough and had water/electric/sewer hookups. The sites did feel a bit cramped though - the site to our left practically looked down on ours. I rated this high because it offers a lot of things but we will not go back. It's anywhere from $6K to $10K to purchase.

This is not a campground - this is a trailer park. 80% of the sites are used for full time guests which is fine but they really should tell people that. Our site was sandwiched between two full time families who fought all night (I thought we'd end up on Cops) and walked around half naked. We had no fire ring, no picnic table and the bathrooms were locked. Our neighbors dog used their deck as a bathroom which was eye level with our windows. We had to keep them closed and covered the entire time. The lake is green sludge that reeks. Maybe this is better in the Summer but our experience was horrid, we went home early and will never go back.
