This park was great fun for the kids. It was a little woodsy for me. There were only 7 full hookup sites. The site gave us more than enough room. There was a concrete patio area off of the camper pad in addition to the picnic area. We had a really nice grill on the site. In the park there are two nature trails, playgrounds, four bath houses, and a large basketball court. Because it is located on the Bogue Chitto River, many tourists come to float the river and canoe. In the entrance of the park, there are tube and canoe rentals. Fishing is popular as well. The only negative things I can review is that it is impossible to get a satellite signal with all the trees. Also, they really need to clear the poison ivy away from the sites. It is close to the pads. Beware of this when you bring pets and children. We will return. We camped at Bogue Chitto Water Park in a Travel Trailer.
