Burns RV Park

Burns, Oregon

Date of Stay:

Very nice place. The guy that checked us in was friendly, happy, and helpful. The Wi-Fi worked well and the showers were clean. I would stay here again.

I agree with the other reviews about the gravel and cramped camping. I went back and moved to another site that was a little better as far as stepping out of your door and onto a sewer hose. The dog areas were all gravel and not a happy dog place. We didn't use the shower or bathrooms because they smelled of cigarette smoke, your clean clothes would stink when you put them on. They used coins to use the shower which started when you inserted them outside the shower area. I guess you have to run fast, or walk around naked, at my age it isn't a pretty sight. You had to pay $4.99 for Wi-Fi, or use the one in the smelly office. I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed in the older section. The staff are great people. It is a nice location, and clean. It probably gets a bit cozy when more people are there, the fall is really nice.

Date of Stay:

A nice park but pricey for just an overnight stay. Did I mention it is close to the Deschutes Brewery? It seems you have about two choices in Bend, $37 a night or $65 a night. The brewery was the only redeeming factor. Diesel in this area is the highest in Oregon, or close to it.

This was just an overnight stop. It is a nice park, clean, and the people friendly. We didn't use the showers or bathrooms. The Wi-Fi worked very well, that was my only concern since I use it to plan the daily journey.

It has beach access, and was close to everything we went to see. Friendly people. We spent three nights here and would stay again. It probably gets a little close in the summer season. I see on their website it's for sale. Can anyone lend me 1.5 million?

I wanted to update the latest information. They do have wi-fi. Not blazing speedy, but about the same as most of the places we camped at in Oregon and Washington.
