Desert Rose RV Park, Fernley, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful park for an overnight visit. The showers/restrooms were very clean and private. The sites had cement pads and were very level. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Desert Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lost Dutchman State Park, Apache Junction, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This was a really nice park, but only had dry camping. On the plus side, over half of the campsites were pull-throughs, which provided plenty of room for our fifth wheel. Some of the pull-throughs were long enough to have 2, sometimes 3 rigs on one site. The desert landscape was beautiful. We would stay there again. We camped at Lost Dutchman State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground. Fairly close to Myrtle Beach area. Sites were level and shady. Very peaceful. Sites were well manicured and campground is well cared for. We were there just for an overnight stop, but would definitely stay there again. We camped at South of the Border in a Fifth Wheel.

River Town Campground, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very dusty. There seemed to be quite a few permanents, along with a lot of construction workers staying in the park, but the park did not look run down. Sites were level. Not sure if we would stay there again. We camped at River Town Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Van Horn RV Park (formerly Van Horn KOA), Van Horn, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were level. We were able to stay hooked up to our fifth wheel. But, we weren't able to walk outside without walking on stickers. Very difficult for our dog to go outside. Had to pick her up and carry her to a safe patch of grass. Not sure if we would stay there again. We camped at Van Horn RV Park (formerly Van Horn KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Crockett Family Resort, Crockett, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Pull through site was very hard to pull through and overhead wires made it difficult to climb on roof of RV. TV cable was strung on ground across campsites. Very dusty. We camped at Crockett Family Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
