I rarely find a truly "family friendly" campground anymore, but this one is it! Great camp for families, pool was very clean, restrooms were very clean, lots to do with the kids like hayrides, fishing on river, river swimming, pool, rec hall, planned activities, movie house, super playground, and petting zoo to name a few. They were extremely diligent at maintaining the camp, no dumpsters, instead camp site pick up made for a very clean place. A lot of seasonals, but they were nice and really took pride in their sites. We would return again and again!

Camp is needing some overall updating. It is pleasant with a pond for the kids, though parents weren't watching them. Minature golf is not kept up and needs a lot of TLC. Pool was very clean and well kept. Restrooms were not bad. I hear the camp is for sale and it looks as if it needs someone to bring it into this year, but not bad in general. We would stay there again. Note: They only accept cash and pets must be less than 25 lbs.

This camp is set up as a resort, ocean front sites and nice concrete pads. All amenities for RV's. The camp is great, kept well and maintained. Our only gripe would be that they charge you for each child/night and they were supposed to have planned activities for the children (which is why we picked it). However, we were told they would have activities the following week, not the week we stayed. This after I had confirmed by phone that they would. They still charged us full price, on season rates, when I believe they should have charged off season prices for off season accommodations. We will return to Cape Hatteras, but not to this camp.
