Stayed the last week of May. Very hot (27C) but pool not yet open. $ for pool when it opens. New park with a few design problems. Short sites. We were allowed to park our tow vehicle on adjacent site as it was not busy and the site fit our 5er only. Power pedestal has water tap directly under the plug in. Hard to connect power cord and impossible to connect pedestal surge protector. Access road is well traveled and dirt. Hard to see through clouds of dust. Site and park roads are dirt and with park speed limit of 30 and fleet of dump trucks based in back of park you will get dirty. Forget about open windows. Showers and laundry are great. Showers $2 for 4 minutes but really nice. Wi-Fi was useless. Don't think I'd come back.....way too dusty/muddy.

Nice town-run park in town on lake. Beautiful level sites with newly installed services. Only about 25 serviced sites and no on-site management, cable TV or Wi-Fi. Constant town maintenance presence. All sites newly gravelled and packed. Lots of trees but not overhanging your RV. Will come again.

Really nice park on the water. Boat launch, swimming area and piers. Gravel sites with great services (even the Wi-Fi is strong) and grassy areas. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The park is near perfect but I may not return. The 3km access road from the highway is extremely rough and even going 10km/hr threw my furniture around. It will certainly give your rv suspension a workout.

Rate based upon one night stay using KOA card. We stayed in a medium priced pull thru below the office. Sites vary greatly in price and you can choose how much to spend over a wide range. Ours was pristine with patio and rockwork borders. Wonderful restrooms and showers, gated park with helpful staff.

Rate based upon monthly stay in 50 amp site. Nicely kept park in great location. Large park with paved roads and paved 30 amp sites and gravel 50 amp sites. Some 30 amp back ins are gravel. Would stay again after considering the following. Power at my site ranged from 128 volts to 131 volts. Talked to others and all 50 amp sites had high voltage but 30amp sites seemed OK. I would stay in 30 amp site next time. Monthly power charge was $111 which seemed high for Apr/May and minimum A/C usage. Wi-Fi was useless.

Stayed first day of the season. Sites still covered with branches and garbage from winter. All restrooms, showers and laundry closed from the winter. They did open one comfort station before we left the next day. No Wi-Fi, no cable but other services worked. Site had some gravel but it was very muddy. A very poor value for $72 but as they say, location, location.

Rate reflects one night stay with KOA card discount. Not a bad park with sites long and well spaced. The access roads in the park are narrow and very treed making site access and exit difficult. Some are better than others and suggest you look before accepting a site. We had site 24 which borders highway 258 which was very noisy. At night the traffic subsided but every 10-15 minutes a loud truck or motorcycle would roar by making sleep difficult. The sites were gravel but you will need to go onto the grass to access your site and it was very muddy. Showers and restrooms were very clean. Cable was great.

Really clean spacious park. Nice part of the world and very scenic. No cable but 4-5 over air channels. Site included picnic table and fire ring. Only concern was strange check in procedure. You check in at the gate (not the office where there is lots of room for people to go around you) so those checking in holds up access for everyone else trying to get into the park.

Rate quoted is average for 10 day stay using Passport America for the maximum allowed 2 days. Great park if you stay away from the showers, restrooms and laundry. Spacious gravel sites with great services . The WiFi is useless. Like previous reviews noted, don't go near the shower or restroom. Great location near Mount Airy with great shopping and dining.

Rate based upon weekly stay with KOA card discount. Easy access to fairly spacious site near the interstate. Surprisingly quiet. All facilities worked as expected and park and facilities were clean. Trash pickup from your site every day. Would stay again.

Have stayed before and like the park. Mostly pull thrus with good services. It rained the whole time we were there and there is no drainage. When we left we were under 4-5 inches of water and to get to the service post you had to navigate a 10" deep lake. Have been previously in good weather and always wondered why there were large puddles everywhere. Would come again but not if it were raining.

Date of Stay:

Clean open park. Easy access and close to interstate. Minimal road noise. We were there in the rain and site was solid but a little muddy.

Great park. WiFi wasn't the best but all other services were great. Easy access, close to interstate but quiet. Very clean treed sites. Would come again.

Stayed in long level mostly sand and grass pull through. Great value for the price with easy access. Wi-Fi typical for an rv park but the cable was very snowy. I would stay again.

Date of Stay:

Older but good. Lots of park models. Easy access from I-15.
