LoW-Hi RV Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Loners on Wheels park and also member of Passport America. It is very nice & clean park, away from highways & rail roads. It is not a resort but has all you need for overnight or longer stays. Would stay here again. We camped at LoW-Hi RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Pontchartrain Landing, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was completely rebuilt after the floods and is in very good condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to the French Quarter was very much appreciated. Yes, the drive to the campground through the damaged industrial section is not pretty but once in the campground it is very safe and secure. The gates are locked at night. We never had any concerns while here. We will definitely be coming back here next year and stay on the waterfront again. Their new name is Pontchartrain Landing. Check out their website, they have big plans for the campground. We paid Passport rates. We camped at Pontchartrain Landing in a Motorhome.

Inexpensive place to stay while traveling, not really a campground but has what you need for a night or two. Dump station is available in the park. Pay by leaving your money in an envelope, so you can arrive at any hour. We camped at Muny Park in a Motorhome.
