Sleeping Wolf, Browning, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Looks like 10-12 spaces with full hookups. 30 amp electric OK, good water. We parked next to restrooms, plugged into a 30 amp on building. Your choices in or near Browning are limited, we called and secured a site in the afternoon. We camped at Sleeping Wolf in a Motorhome.

Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park was about 50% full on Columbus Day weekend. We had a nice site with view to the north overlooking the bay. We would have stayed longer but they closed on Tuesday. It is a good location and has good access. We camped at Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Gold Brook Campground, Stowe, Vermont

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Open sites, great for Fall but not much shade for summer. Easy in and out. Great base for touring Stowe area. 50 amp sites filled up but plenty of room other-wise. Well cared for but not fancy. We camped at Gold Brook Campground in a Motorhome.

Kampersville, Salisbury, Vermont

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

A good base camp to tour the Middlebury area. The campground about 50% full, still lots of activity in early October. We could have used some help getting to our back-up spot after dark. It is a busy park with lots of shade. We camped at Kampersville in a Motorhome.

Letchworth State Park, Castile, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

One of the most impressive State Parks we've ever been to. Lot's to see and many beautiful sites. The campground practically empty on October 2. We would stay here again in a heart-beat. We camped at Letchworth State Park in a Motorhome.

Saco River Camping Area, North Conway, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Traffic in North Conway very heavy and you must fight it to get to this campground. The campground is along the river about 300 yards from main North/South street but you'd never know it. A peaceful campground along river with lots of shade. The staff and store are nice. I wanted to get propane on the way out but their access is poor. The park was about 50% full in early October. We camped at Saco River Camping Area in a Motorhome.

Riverside Park Motel and Campground, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

It is a nice drive north to Canadian side of Falls (about 15 minutes). Very few campers except for about 10 seasonal campers. It was a tight fit for our 36' coach. The park needed some work but adequate for our needs. Heading south along the river we took Gilmore Road west bound to join Queen Elizabeth Way and encountered a low (12'), poorly marked underpass! We camped at Riverside Park Motel and Campground in a Motorhome.

Straits State Park, Saint Ignace, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed on lower level with walking access to water. There is a nice view of the bridge. Nice back-in sites. There were hardly any campers in late September. We camped at Straits State Park in a Motorhome.
