Date of Stay:

The park was about 50% full on Columbus Day weekend. We had a nice site with view to the north overlooking the bay. We would have stayed longer but they closed on Tuesday. It is a good location and has good access.

Date of Stay:

Open sites, great for Fall but not much shade for summer. Easy in and out. Great base for touring Stowe area. 50 amp sites filled up but plenty of room other-wise. Well cared for but not fancy.

Date of Stay:

A good base camp to tour the Middlebury area. The campground about 50% full, still lots of activity in early October. We could have used some help getting to our back-up spot after dark. It is a busy park with lots of shade.

Date of Stay:

One of the most impressive State Parks we've ever been to. Lot's to see and many beautiful sites. The campground practically empty on October 2. We would stay here again in a heart-beat.

Date of Stay:

Traffic in North Conway very heavy and you must fight it to get to this campground. The campground is along the river about 300 yards from main North/South street but you'd never know it. A peaceful campground along river with lots of shade. The staff and store are nice. I wanted to get propane on the way out but their access is poor. The park was about 50% full in early October.

Date of Stay:

It is a nice drive north to Canadian side of Falls (about 15 minutes). Very few campers except for about 10 seasonal campers. It was a tight fit for our 36' coach. The park needed some work but adequate for our needs. Heading south along the river we took Gilmore Road west bound to join Queen Elizabeth Way and encountered a low (12'), poorly marked underpass!

Date of Stay:

We stayed on lower level with walking access to water. There is a nice view of the bridge. Nice back-in sites. There were hardly any campers in late September.
