Campground is located next to Garden of the Gods. Staff very good at check-in. We had a premium pull thru that fit our 37' with tow vehicle parking behind MH. 50 amp, water and sewer very good. Local TV channels very strong. Paved roads to site and parked on a good size gravel site. Site was level with picnic table and pad. They take you to your site. Park has rental cabins so relatives could come spend a couple of days. We would stay again.

Our rate reflects a week stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Sites are level with a concrete walk along side unit. Used their Wi-Fi and it worked fine for what I needed. Electric, water, and sewer were well located. It was nice to have a slot next to the MH to park the tow unit. It appears they have several full time residents, but their sites were well kept up. Great base for the Boise area. Close to all the major stores and also has a walking trail along the Boise River. Only thing missing was a picnic table. I would recommend.

I was unhappy with KOA at this campground. Most KOA's are pretty good but this one has many residents it appears. There sites looked like a junk yard, and they are in the front of the campground. Some of the units had been there a long time, flat tires, pop ups with ripped canvas. Our site was big enough for our MH but we had to park our tow at the office. I made the reservation on line so all my information was there on size and slide outs. The staff was friendly and they were working to make the place look better because they said the big boss was coming. Should look good all the time for this rate. All hook-ups worked and glad we were just home basing for the time there. We need to extend an extra day and was told we could not but someone in the back said it was all right for us to extend. They have some issues with the long timers. If back in the area, we will find another campground. Make sure you keep everything locked up.

Very old park with several old units that haven't moved in years. For the price it worked for us since it was close to town. Only had 30 amp but everything else worked fine. WiFi was strong at the site. They must have upgraded since last review. Cable was good but use a water regulator because I think there is high pressure. Site was good size, we could park our 37 ft MH with car. Looking at other parks in the area this is about the normal. It works for a stop.

We stayed in a 37 ft motorhome and it was tight getting to our site. Once in site we could open both slides and still have some room. Park is run down but the manager couple are working on upgrades. 50 amp power was issue, had low voltage on one leg but we got by. Water, you need a regulator as I was told by the manager, did have sewer. No wifi or cable. We used for base since we were here to visit San Francisco and the rate was ok. Several residents with old campers, they were living in. We would not stay again. No picnic tables.

We used this as our base of travel. Site was nice pull thru and very level. Had 50 amp, sewer, water, cable, wifi. Staff was helpful and led us to the site. It was a nice KOA. Just outside of town which works for us since we are travelers and not campers. Stayed 3 nights. Right next to 101 but no noise. We would stay again.

We stayed in a 37 ft motorhome. Site had 30 amp, cable, water, and sewer. We had a view of the ocean so we could watch the tide change. Small campground but worked for us. Close to Newport off 101 which we like. Site was level and we could get our slides out. Stopped for 2 days but extended for 3 more days at the PA rate. Lady was very friendly in the office and helpful. We would stay again.

We were just passing thru and stayed for 2 nights. Best rate we found for a site with hook-ups. The site was concrete with a picnic table and patio. We have a 37 ft motorthome and we fit, but it is tight. Full hook-up, but the cable is being worked on so we ended up using the dish. For a short stay it works for us because we are traveling thru so we don't need a lot of space. Plan on be gone during the day anyway. Train did not bother us, not much noise and I don't think it runs at night.

If you want full hook-ups this is the place. Sites are narrow but we were next to the bath house so we had extra room. Good pull thru site with all hook-ups, worked well. Wi-Fi was good and cable TV was good. We spend several days because of friends in the desert camping. Site was level but the little stones got tracked into motorhome. We would stay again if in the area.

Park has easy access. Just off Interstate 8. Site was just right for us since we were only here 4 nights so we could visit San Diego. Everyone was friendly and site was easy to enter. Sites are close but we were only there during the evenings. All good hook-ups and with Passport it was a great value for California campgrounds. We would stop here again if in the area. We had a site but was told to park our tow in the site behind our site.

Park is very clean with some full timers but was clean. Office lady was great and got us a pull-through with sewer for our 1 night stay. We were just passing through but the site was level and all services were in good location. Most sites had a wooden patio and fire ring. Only bad was we needed propane and the guy was gone and would not be in until we were gone the next day.

Staff was very friendly. Site we were on was very level and spacious. New owners and they are making improvements. We had one of the "deluxe sites". Roads can be tricky getting to the site but remember you are in the mountains. We extended our stay because of the location. The campground is located just off I-75 but no noise.

Date of Stay:

Great small park just off I-75 for a overnight stay. The manager meets you at the drive way and directs you to your site. If pulling a toad do not need to unhook. Great WiFi and cable TV. Park is very clean and we will always stop on trips to Florida.

Date of Stay:

Here for 3 days waiting to depart on a cruise. Site was on a concrete pad with full hookup minus cable. TV OTA was very good. You have access to Jetty Park, Fishing Pier, and the beach at no added cost. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Park is well maintained. Fun to watch the cruise ships and fishing boats going out the channel. We will stop again. Only downside is the back sand-like stuff that tracked into motorhome' next time we will use our large mat.

We were late arriving and the lady was in the office yet. Easy check-in, then she led us to our site, great service. She also gave us two chocolate cookies. Site was level and hook ups were great. Good cable and strong Wi-Fi. We stayed one night on our way south. Great location off Interstate 16, easy on off and on. We would stay here again. I would recommend this campground.
