Cedar Point Resorts / Lighthouse Point Campground, Sandusky, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $114.00
Overall Rating:

The cost is high but being able to walk to the park is great. If you camp off site it will be $20.00 for parking each day, which you don't pay if you are camping. The site was very level and good size for what is needed. We got there early and had to wait for our site, but you can park in their lot and go to the park. They will text you when you site is open. Bus service to the park if needed and wifi and cable are good. We enjoyed our stay and will return. We camped at Cedar Point Resorts / Lighthouse Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Sauder Village Campground, Archbold, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very clean and the site we had was level. Had 50 amp, water, and sewer which all was good. Check in is at hotel registration. If you stay at campground you get the use of the hotel pool. Nice place to eat on site, The Barn, good food. Only down side was they use one water supply for two camp sites. We needed the extra hose to reach, other then that it was good. We camped at Sauder Village Campground in a Motorhome.

North Beach Campground, Burlington, Vermont

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Great city park. Located close to downtown and other attractions. We used this a base camp for the area. The staff were very helpful since we could only get one night at first. The manager worked it out and we only moved after the first day to a site we stayed on for the next 3 nights. Had all hookups. The park is very clean and bike trails run thru the CG. We would stay again. We camped at North Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

Arrowhead Marina & RV Park, Schenectady, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park with elect., water, sewer and cable. We used this as a overnight stop. We had a back in site, don't know if they have pull thru's. It was nice location on the Mohawk river. Some have made statements about trains, yes there are trains but did not bother us. We would stay again. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This a good overnight stop park. Only have water and electric. They do have a dump station. The OTA TV channels were great, well over 20. Check in was good and we had a pull thru so it worked for us. Site was very level. We camped at Sleepy Hollow Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Richmond KOA, Richmond, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Park is well maintained by the owner which is always on site. Close to I-70 but road noise not an issue. We had a full hook up site which was very level. The Wi-Fi and cable worked very well. Lots of trees so sat TV, not an option. The owner and staff are very friendly. We stayed for 5 days to visit family in the area. We will stay next time we are in the area. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

Mark Twain Landing, Monroe City, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed overnight on trip home. Been here before and it is a very well run park. Our site was a pull thru and very level. Had 50 amp, water and cable. Did not use Wi-Fi, used our hot spot. It is early in season but they have lots of things for the kids with a water park at the entrance. I would recommend this campground. We camped at Mark Twain Landing in a Motorhome.

Garden of the Gods Campground, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is located next to Garden of the Gods. Staff very good at check-in. We had a premium pull thru that fit our 37' with tow vehicle parking behind MH. 50 amp, water and sewer very good. Local TV channels very strong. Paved roads to site and parked on a good size gravel site. Site was level with picnic table and pad. They take you to your site. Park has rental cabins so relatives could come spend a couple of days. We would stay again. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Boise Riverside RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate reflects a week stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Sites are level with a concrete walk along side unit. Used their Wi-Fi and it worked fine for what I needed. Electric, water, and sewer were well located. It was nice to have a slot next to the MH to park the tow unit. It appears they have several full time residents, but their sites were well kept up. Great base for the Boise area. Close to all the major stores and also has a walking trail along the Boise River. Only thing missing was a picnic table. I would recommend. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Seattle / Tacoma KOA, Kent, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

I was unhappy with KOA at this campground. Most KOA's are pretty good but this one has many residents it appears. There sites looked like a junk yard, and they are in the front of the campground. Some of the units had been there a long time, flat tires, pop ups with ripped canvas. Our site was big enough for our MH but we had to park our tow at the office. I made the reservation on line so all my information was there on size and slide outs. The staff was friendly and they were working to make the place look better because they said the big boss was coming. Should look good all the time for this rate. All hook-ups worked and glad we were just home basing for the time there. We need to extend an extra day and was told we could not but someone in the back said it was all right for us to extend. They have some issues with the long timers. If back in the area, we will find another campground. Make sure you keep everything locked up. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

Driftwood RV Park, Long Beach, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Very old park with several old units that haven't moved in years. For the price it worked for us since it was close to town. Only had 30 amp but everything else worked fine. WiFi was strong at the site. They must have upgraded since last review. Cable was good but use a water regulator because I think there is high pressure. Site was good size, we could park our 37 ft MH with car. Looking at other parks in the area this is about the normal. It works for a stop. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

Vallejo Mobile Home Community & RV Park (formerly Tall Trees MH/RV), Vallejo, California

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a 37 ft motorhome and it was tight getting to our site. Once in site we could open both slides and still have some room. Park is run down but the manager couple are working on upgrades. 50 amp power was issue, had low voltage on one leg but we got by. Water, you need a regulator as I was told by the manager, did have sewer. No wifi or cable. We used for base since we were here to visit San Francisco and the rate was ok. Several residents with old campers, they were living in. We would not stay again. No picnic tables. We camped at Vallejo Mobile Home Community & RV Park (formerly Tall Trees MH/RV) in a Motorhome.

Crescent City / Redwoods KOA, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We used this as our base of travel. Site was nice pull thru and very level. Had 50 amp, sewer, water, cable, wifi. Staff was helpful and led us to the site. It was a nice KOA. Just outside of town which works for us since we are travelers and not campers. Stayed 3 nights. Right next to 101 but no noise. We would stay again. Seal Rocks RV Cove, Seal Rock, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a 37 ft motorhome. Site had 30 amp, cable, water, and sewer. We had a view of the ocean so we could watch the tide change. Small campground but worked for us. Close to Newport off 101 which we like. Site was level and we could get our slides out. Stopped for 2 days but extended for 3 more days at the PA rate. Lady was very friendly in the office and helpful. We would stay again. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Motorhome.

Oceanside RV Park, Oceanside, California

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

We were just passing thru and stayed for 2 nights. Best rate we found for a site with hook-ups. The site was concrete with a picnic table and patio. We have a 37 ft motorthome and we fit, but it is tight. Full hook-up, but the cable is being worked on so we ended up using the dish. For a short stay it works for us because we are traveling thru so we don't need a lot of space. Plan on be gone during the day anyway. Train did not bother us, not much noise and I don't think it runs at night. We camped at Oceanside RV Park in a Motorhome.
