Savannah South KOA, Richmond Hill, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great staff. Super friendly and helpful. Since this is located just off of I-95, it is a very busy park for the "one night stop" folks heading south for the winter. We stayed here 11 nights and had new neighbors almost every night while here. Sites are fairly close together with lots of shade. The lake is nice and full of many different types of geese, ducks and a few small gators. We rented a small jon boat one afternoon and the staff didn't even charge us the $3.00/hour fee. Will stay here again. We camped at Savannah South KOA in a Motorhome.

Engineer Beach RV Park (Military FamCamp) , Fort Rucker Army Post, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside for us was the lack of sewer hook-up. After three days, the gray water needed dumping. For a two week trip, this was very inconvenient for us. Were able to get a good satellite TV signal and our Alltel wireless Internet worked great. Would stay here again if for a short time. We camped at Engineer Beach RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.
