Riverside RV Park, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The website view of this park is very misleading. This park is very small and does not accommodate big rigs well at all. We sat outside our front door and could clearly see our neighbor inside their rigs and speak to them through the window. There is NO place to walk your dog except across a very busy street in a children's ball field. We had some issues with our rig, called repair and notified the manager we may be delayed in departing later than expected, she was not happy. We ultimately made the decision to leave early (without repairs) to accommodate the park. We were advised absolutely no refunds! We camped at Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Oak Forest RV Park, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a well maintained comfortable park. To be so close to the city, it was very quiet! Security patrolled the area and the site was nice and large. We will definitely keep it on our list for future stays. We camped at Oak Forest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Ballinger City Park, Ballinger, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderfully quaint park contained within the city park. We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is no sewer, but a dump station is available. We were also told the city plans to update the electric to include 50 amp as well. Nice little known park. We camped at Ballinger City Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Shady Pines RV Park, Texarkana, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here during the height of summer. The park is very clean, sites are spacious and the restrooms maticulous! We did not shower in the park showers, but the staff made sure we saw them on arrival and knew where all amenities were. The cable was out of service throughout the park: don't know why. Very little shade, but many trees planted for the future. Overall a very pleasant park. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Shady Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Ouachita State Park, Mountain Pine, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in August, so the humidity was a little high. This is a beautiful campground with lake and woods nearby. Staff is very helpful. We were here for 2 weeks with no TV and never missed it for a minute. Close to Hot Springs for "touristy" fun and shopping. We will return again and again!!! We camped at Lake Ouachita State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here in February into March. Staff was wonderful, park has excellent amenities - even a small game room for the kids! Areas along the river to fish or just watch the water, deer came up to the rig in herds. We have stayed at others in the area, but will definitely come back here with friends and family. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunset Point on Lake LBJ, Marble Falls, Texas

Overall Rating:

This is by far our favorite campground. We have stayed here several times a year for the past 4 years and have never been disappointed. The park is secluded, but close enough to town to be convenient. Lots of shopping available nearby if you like walking main street shops. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Fifth Wheel.
