Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great RV park. Airport is quiet at night. Close to the golf course. Convenient to town. Nice walking trails. Pull thru spots facing airstrip reasonably level. Cable works well so didn't need to use the dome for satellite reception. Rates are good but bring cash or your check book. We'll stay here again. We camped at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park in a Motorhome.

Creekwood Farm RV Park, Waynesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Great folks. Wonderful weather and temps. Lots to see and do in the area. The campground is extremely well maintained. The sites have lots of grass. The creek that flows through the park is very soothing and settling. We will definitely return here again. We camped at Creekwood Farm RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sunrise RV Park, Texarkana, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We used this as simply an overnight stop on our way east. Very nice campground: clean and well trimmed. Seemed to have ample pull through sites for those of us who shoe up without a reservation. The predominate population was workers/full time folks. However, they were quiet and their sites very clean. We will stop here again. We camped at Sunrise RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jackson RV Park, Jackson, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Another end of day stop. The park is very near the I-40 but road noise is minimal. The park is mostly a very old double wide city in heavy shade trees. RV parking is in a concrete/asphalt parking lot adjacent to the office. We were met by the owner on our way in as he was leaving. He promptly turned around to direct us in: a very nice thing to do. Wi-Fi works well with strong signal. A perfectly adequate one night stop. We will stop here again. We camped at Jackson RV Park in a Motorhome.

Peregrine Pines FamCamp (Military FamCamp), US Air Force Academy, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

If you are military, this is a campground that needs to be on your list. Great staff: very helpful. The FamCamp is heavily used and is generally full so reservations are a must. The Wi-Fi works well, water pressure is 90+ psi so be sure to use a reducer. There is a commissary and BX on the installation. There is a gas station but does not have diesel. We will definitely stay here again. Very few road markings but the South entrance from I-25 (exit 150) leads to South Gate Road which turns into Stadium Blvd. At the North side of the Stadium there will be a sign for the FamCamp to the right (approx 4.5 miles from the entrance gate). We camped at Peregrine Pines FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground. Spent 2 nights. Staff very helpful and friendly. Looks like lots of recent improvements have been made - each site is neatly landscaped. Nice pines throughout the park provide shade while allowing good satellite reception. Check with the park staff when making a reservation for a site that will allow good reception. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Terrific staff. Nice looking facility. Pet rules are very "common sense" - pets must be under control. If a leash is needed - use it. If the pet is under voice control you're OK. Some sites are very tight with insufficient space to extend the awning. Suggest you "scope out" sites available as you drive thru. Staff very amenable to allowing you to relocate - depends on availability. Great view of Santa Fe. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stagecoach Stop RV Resort, Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff. Asked for a site without trees restricting satellite reception. Should have walked the park and selected my own site. Sites are very tight. Once in, had to remove the tow dolly and reposition off the hard surface in order to get out upon departure. We would stay there again when a short stay is required as I was visiting family. We camped at Stagecoach Stop RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Floating Mill Campground COE, Silver Point, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground but very difficult to get out of. The exit road makes a 150 degree turn that could not be made without maneuvering in a parking area beyond the turn to get turned around. Otherwise the campground is beautiful and well maintained. We camped at Floating Mill Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Hope Village Inn & RV Park, Hope, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

A real dump. Arrived just after a significant rain and would need to bail muddy water from around the hose bib. Most of the park is occupied by transient workers or broken down units. We will not stop here again. We camped at Hope Village Inn & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Ridge COE, Temple, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

Exceptionally professional and friendly staff. We had originally planned and reserved for 3 nights using our "America the Beautiful" Senior pass but mentioned to the gate staff that we would be leaving a day early. When We returned home, we found that the staff, without being requested to do so, processed a refund for the early checkout. We will definitely return there. We camped at Cedar Ridge COE in a Fifth Wheel.
