Fort Morgan RV Park, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place to use as a base camp for Gulf Shores area. You are only 5 minute drive to national wildlife area and national seashore beach. The owners are very helpful and friendly. This is not a destination park. We camped with our large dog, bay side site, full hook ups, no problems. There were several families with middle school/ high school age children using the park as their base for the vacation. Fishing pier was nice if you want to fish, or just watch the sunsets. We camped at Fort Morgan RV Park in a Motorhome.

I agree with the last 3 posts. This is a nice park for an overnight stay. Easy in and out from the interstate. Not particularly noisy. Friendly hosts. Lots of space to run my dog. Plenty of things to let kids burn up some energy. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

St Paul East RV Park, Woodbury, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Used this park as overnight stop. Traveling companion wanted to spend the night with a relative in St. Paul, so we pulled in. Nice park. Easy to get to. Easy to get a big rig around in the park. Level sites. Shade trees. Large area to run dog. Nice playground for kids. Very convenient to sites in Twin City area. This park IS in a city, so expect city type noise on occasion. I would stay here again on next family visit. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

Used this park as base camp to explore Glacier NP. Excellent park, clean, well kept, friendly staff, pool, playground, mini golf, etc. to keep kids and adults busy. Handles big rigs easily. Lots of space to run a dog. On the river if you want to fish or swim (brrrrrrr). Spectacular scenery surrounds this park. Essentially next to the entrance to Glacier. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed here on both outbound and return legs of summer trip. Once you find the place, it's worth looking for. Easy access. Great level sites for bigger rigs. Friendly staff. Nice pool. They were installing a huge playground climbing/swinging/fort near the pool while we were there. Kids will love it. Good place for overnight stop or a few days. We camped at Cottonwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big Pine Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Used this park as base camp to explore this corner of S.D. It is up in the trees and tight, but moving a 36 ft. class A in and out was no trouble. Sites are mostly level. Rest rooms clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. They helped arrange a rental car for the week from local dealer. Quiet park. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Big Pine Campground in a Motorhome.
