Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park in which to stay and visit San Antonio. The city bus stops right in front of the park and takes you into town. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Laundry was very nice, restrooms good. Shaded sites available. It is quite a distance from the freeway and the signage could be better. We would stay here again. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Avalon Landing RV Park, Milton, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park opened in July 2008. The owners are very nice and very helpful. We had a site by the lake and it was beautiful. Bathrooms and laundry were clean and nice. WiFi worked great. The park is easy to find and not too far off I-10. Great base to visit Pensacola. We would stay here again. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Space Coast RV Resort, Rockledge, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This was the worst park we stayed in during our 10 weeks on the road through 19 states. Management was rude and would not deal with any complaints. WiFi was advertised, yet never worked in the 3 days we were there despite my reporting the problem. I witnessed another camper complaining about the WiFi, yet the management insisted that it worked. The washers and dryers were old, rusty and they were not all working. Campsites flooded and did not drain after a rain. This park is over-priced and is not a resort. I would not stay here again. We camped at Space Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
