Little Black Creek Water Park, Lumberton, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

There isn't internet or cable. Wasn't a priority for my family but I know for some that's a deal breaker. Campers next to us were very loud and obnoxious. Expect locals when camping here. We camped at Little Black Creek Water Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park), Goodlettsville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for 7 nights. It had been raining and the sites were muddy. They are slag and not much of that! It is not very well maintained, of course this is the off season. Trash was on the ground and the muddy ruts were not smoothed out our entire visit! The interior roads are very narrow and I feel that you would have problems maneuvering around if the campground was full. Sites are close together. There is no trash pickup at sites, you must take your trash to the dumpster behind the office. This campground is noisy because it backs up to the interstate. Internet is good. The patios are very small and pretty much useless. It is not really close to any of the attractions or the downtown area. Traffic gets very congested after about 4pm. There is a $5 per person fee charged for more than 2 people per site. This includes your children! We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Up the Creek RV Camp, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful site and friendly folks running the place! Our site had the creek running behind it and a stacked stone fireplace on the cement patio! We really enjoyed the fireplace on the cool evenings while we were there. It was so nice! It was wet so that made getting onto the site a little difficult. The host came with his bobcat and fixed the driveway and road. No bath house or laundry although it is coming soon! I would stay here again for sure! It is conveniently located without being in the middle of things. We camped at Up the Creek RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Paul B. Johnson State Park, Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

I made our reservation through Reserveamerica and when we got there our site had workers building a retaining wall. Office personnel were not aware of the work so we had to go back to the office to request a different site. We were lucky there were more available. Had this been in summer months I am afraid we would have been stuck without a site! Otherwise, park was nice. I can't say quiet due to the sawing and such associated with the building of that wall. We camped at Paul B. Johnson State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Anchors Aweigh RV Resort, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2008 - $32.00

This is a great campground with very friendly management. They even help you back into your site if applicable. Sites are large and roomy. The pool is very large and well kept. There is a hot tub and playground as well. If you mention their website, they give a 10% discount on the nightly rate. We stayed 3 nights. We camped at Anchors Aweigh RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
